No GTA and RDR game has proper stealth in it. Most stealth parts are scripted and in free roam you don't have enough mechanics and AI isn't remotely suitable for stealth. Whenever you get spotted everyone suddenly knows your exact spot and you can't go back into hiding. Also the Diamond Casino Heist's stealth approach felt awkward because of that ridiculous stealth stance where your character stands and moves like he's constipated and AI acts deaf when you're shooting through glasses. I can go on and on with examples but why should I? They're not stealth games at all, so why criticize them for something they're not even trying.

 

Rockstar's only stealth franchise is Manhunt.

At least give the option to "crouch" like in RDR2, that weird "move slow and lean forward slightly" -stealth thing from GTA V is just embarrassing... Overall I really like those RDR Online controls the most, really fast and fluid, even fun to move around, while still looking realistic. Story modes, especially the one in RDR2 is heavily scripted and cinematic, so those "heavier" controls make more sense there, I get it. 

"Heavily scripted" and "cinematic" is something that I wish the GTA 6 NOT to be tho, they should really give back some of the freedom and the choices of the 3D era (at least in some form, no it doesn't mean going full arcade and goofing around in saints row style)

This still pisses me off. In V the NPCS can crouch but you can't.

Since we entered the HD era, all we see is the hate cycle. First we hated on GTA IV when GTA V came out, then GTA V came out and we hated GTA V, now GTA V is coming and guess what, we gonna hate on GTA V.

Presuming that's a typo, and meant to say VI, right?

 

But it's a natural cycle. Happens with many series. It happened with Fallout. After 4 released, suddenly NV was the best Fallout game, even though at the time it was considered inferior to Fallout 3. Every game improves in areas, but then will lack in others. I can guarantee GTA VI will improve on V's shortcomings, but have it's own flaws. Flaws that perhaps people will highlight that V did better. Plus nostalgia. In 10 years time, kids who grew up playing V will consider it a classic they played in their youth, like many of us do for GTA IV and the ones before.

Yep. People who grew up playing GTA 4 say it’s the best in the series, and now a new generation growing up playing 5 and Online WILL say it’s better than GTA 6, for various reasons. I can guarantee you if GTA 6 Online is less competitive-oriented than GTA 5 Online people will be nostalgic for the Oppressor Mk 2 because it “made it exciting and a challenge.” and accuse Rockstar of dumbing it down for kids lol

That's a longshot and somewhat crazy idea, but:

So far, we don't even know if Everywhere is a console/PC game. We know that it's going to be multiplayer and blend virtual with reality. There was also a rumour that it'll have a massive map - presumably whole world. What if it's an AR mobile game, like Ingress or Pokemon GO?  The description would fit and then it'd be possible to release it next year.

I think there'll be no more delays from now on. Since Rockstar has resumed performance capture. Still March - September they haven't been able to do it so maybe there's a delay that we don't know about.

This makes me think the GTA VI exclusivity is possible and would be the best way for Sony to get the upper hand. Imagine if they Announce it next month and tell us it's a PS5 exclusive for a month, or even more.

Sony have already been aggressive with exclusivity deals. I can see something happening with Rockstar/GTA more and more each day. A full buyout is still unthinkable, though.

We all know about Sony. I am sure they want to destroy Xbox, just like they did destroy HD DVD by using Blu Ray in the PS3.

 

Till now I thought they don't need to destroy Xbox cause they have the upper hand. But now, they need to, I don't think Xbox will make games by Bethesda available on PS5, that won't be a great move. I think more people are going to order Xbox now after this, more than before certainly. 

 

Sony can however, like I said, Announce that GTA VI will be exclusive for PS5 , timed or even full, we know sony tried to do this with GTA IV, Xbox had to pay them to stop it. But it'd be stupid if GTA doesn't come to PC, Sony knows that, they'll just make it not available on Xbox. An announcement next month about what I said, could boost the sales of PS5, very much. It's not necessary, but I see a lot of people changing their mind to buy Xbox, and Sony would want to stop them as a company, I'm sure.

This is exactly why I think it's possible. Also if it's happening, then I'd say the Announcement would come next month, otherwise that deal wouldn't be that effective. Just imagine the number of gamers cancelling the Xbox pre-order to buy PS5. That'd be a huge move from sony.

Exactly, GTA would be a massive system seller. Skyrim, Fallout, etc are good and all but none of those games is anywhere near the popularity of GTA.
