Exactly. This is why dumb 18 year old me in 2008 thought GTA V would come much sooner, because after creating the next gen GTA IV on RAGE, V would be much faster to develop.

Exactly and even that game will take almost 4 years to come out. Game development with that kind of production quality takes time. No amount of whining would make it any faster. It's just the way it is.

 

And don't like GTAO, don't play it. There are heaps of good games to play out there excluding a Rockstar game. Just have fun!

We, Europeans, can get a PS5 for $610 in 2022. GTA6 will be a launch title for us. Can't complain.

Guys, I just wanted to refer to the f*cked-up preorders in the region. I booked an order in advance at local retailer in July and I've just been informed I'm not the chosen one and July was too late to be chosen.

 

People were literally sleeping at the end of the event (10PM CEST). Not to mention one marketing mastermind at Sony had said preorders won't open with minute's notice.

 

You go to the bathroom, take your time and go back only to see closed preorders at retails. The most expensive bath people have ever taken.

 

Of course it's coming on 19th November.

Retailers here opened up a placeholder page for PS5 to make a """""preorder""""" despite release date and price and now these retailers contact the minority of us who booked an order the earliest. Along this logic, PS5 has literally been sold out by April here.

They said they'd give us plenty of notice, and that they wouldn't spring them on us.

But they did just that, pre orders went live with practically no time to prepare. Unlike Microsoft giving us over a weeks notice.
