Eh I don't know if the ban wave will take away people from online. Anyway yesterday I logged in after 3 or 4 months because I wanted to see if my account has been deleted, because even if I've never used cheats or glitches I've read of players being banned for no valid reason. 

My account is still OK, rooms are still full and connecting to a server still takes at least 5 minutes.

For what you need these new consoles ?? 

I told to myself if there.will be GTA VI realised with them, I'm buying. 

But at the moment you will need to spend 500-600£ to play 4 games ??? 

I will wait until there will be little bit more games to play;)

Buying new consoles a couple years after they launch is also better because they can fix eventual problems

My X1X shuts down after loading RDR2 (and other modern enhanced games) due to overheating. I think the thermal paste has died. So, I can't really wait, if I want to keep playing games.

People just see what they want to see. First it was 'obvious' it was going to be announced in 2019, then it was the Game Awards, because Rockstar were there, then it was the Super Bowl, then it was May 10th, now it's October 5th...

What will it be come October 6th?

Indeed “510” can be interpreted in too many ways. Can also mean May 10th lol.

May 10th has come and gone, nothing happened. At that point, it becomes "Well maybe it was October 5th?" And then May 10th 2021, and so on until something happens.

We've been there before with 2405. Sometimes things don't mean anything, no matter how much they may look like it to someone, or however much you want it to mean something. A lot of people struggle to get over the fact that something can be a complete coincidence.

I feel your pain. The same happened to my old fat loved ps3 while I was playing uncharted 3!

I think it'd explode if I even tried to play Cyberpunk 2077 on it. The main reason I was actually happy the game got delayed to November. I'll actually be able to play it!

Maybe GTA V on PS5 comes with online like with the past consoles, but as GTA O is standalone on PS5 also, you will only be buying GTA V on PS5 for the single player story.

GTA Online isn't standalone on next-gen. It's an additional and optional way to play.

Stand alone gta online? Who cares? ..i mean if its just the same thing as the old one then whats the point? If it came with liberty city of gta 4 map it still would feel pointless. I have allready seen it.

It's basically like Warzone being free to play standalone, so you don't have to buy or install the single player or multiplayer to play the BR... except it seems GTA Online standalone will still be paid. I imagine it will be cheaper than buying the full priced game, maybe.

VERY INFURIATING BIT OF SPECULATION:

 

 

 

 

 

 

The next GTA is going to be purely online similar to an MMORPG such as the Elder Scrolls Online, and will be attune to that of a "games as a service" type model. Where we'll get seasonal DLC that will add not only new missions, clothing options and vehicles but will also add new cities with each major update.

 

This would fulfill that bit of Benzies ambition with the having every city in one game statement he made a few years back, while also keeping the higher ups at Take Two happy. 

 

Im also willing to bet we'll hear some bullsh*t from Rockstar about how "while the game is primarily focused on cooperative play, you will also be free to play the games story entirely solo."

gta online will not be with gta v on the next gen why would would anyone pay for a standalone  version if the updates continue with gta v   i theory although i concede the wording is confusing clearly ps5 players get some sort of  deal for the first three months is it the game is free for them for three months or it is the new online counting the first update i assume is ps5 only for three months but going with the evidence i disagree with your view the new online will be alongside next gen gta v it does not make sense to make online standalone .
