Don´t expect GTA6 annoucement at the next PS5 event. GTA5 for PS5 is next and they won´t announce GTA6 before GTA5 for NG has been released. Maybe a proper NG GTA5 trailer but not GTA6.

You guys should stop being so dramatic. Many rockstar veterans still works in rockstar. Only dan houser left from the writing department, rest of the writers who wrote gta 4 and rdr2 are still there. And that lazlow leaving rockstar is fake. Don't believe it

No it's true. I'd prefer not to post too many details so publically, but he did detail it on his instagram. His sister has been battling cancer the past 2 years. He left in April. It's all on his instagram, website and linkedin.

The tweet wasn't even fake, it seems. I only posted it because I knew it was his twitter account. People just claimed it was fake because they didn't want to believe it. I think people reported it for being fake because the account no longer exists.

I am a actually in shock right now, its rare for me to miss something that important ( Rockstar games related ) ... Not a lot of outlets covered this...

I wouldn't worry though.

 

I have faith in the new people and as much as i love Rockstars humor i wouldn't mind a fresh new approach on things.

Nah it's too much work. 

 

Plus writing one or two pieces is different than being the mastermind behind an entire game( in his department ).

 

Damn i loved the Gta iv skits, the Gta v on camera appearances, the vice city and liberty city 3d era skits, all the commercials...

 

However and people might shoot me for saying something like that i found the humor to be a little tedious after a while.

 

The whole liberal vs conservatism agenda and the capitalism jokes are funny but after a while it can get a little repetitive imo.

 

It's tough but try to be optimistic about the change. Check out the casino heist for instance.

 

Yung Ancestor was a fun character, the humor was relatable/ relevant with the current climate and the segments well written.

 

Lazlow and Dan didn't write anything related to that particular character.

So i think we are good.

 

Yeah we had some groundbreaking changes at Rockstar but things evolve.

City Morgue is from New York. I think that the late 2020 update will add Liberty City and that it was supposed to release during the summer, but it got delayed due to Covid. That’s what CM was teasing by their “Summer 2020” IG story. Rockstar just quickly made what we got now when they realized that they won’t have LC ready so soon.

I agree with you 100%. Its about time to see some fresh young writers do their stuff. There are many talented writers who can do better job. I'm ok with the creative direction rockstar is currently heading. Humour in gta online is reflective of current times

The social commentary is strangely relatable even today. I can't really decide whether I liked it or not because at times I had a good chuckle but sometimes I felt it was too much. I wonder whether they will crank it up in VI or not.
