Yes, they want to release games more often. And they do. They have released GTA V 3 times in 7-8 years, and they release NBA 2K every year. They are already doing that. That really has nothing to do with VI. We want to release games more often so we create the largest gap in time between games in one of our most successful franchises?

No it won’t. It would never. They don’t have to put much money into Online at all, and yet people throw money at it. That’s the genius of online.  Rolling out a few improvements over the next couple of years and some mini storylines is really all they have to do. They have their MMORPG that no one can really compete with at the moment. Online has been going strong for over 6 years. With nothing really changing about it that much. Heists was the biggest change. How long ago was that?

 

To make VI epic enough to satisfy expectations and hype they will have to funnel money into it simply because, well, I believe if it’s anything like V fans will flip. They have lived with V long enough. But whatever the next step is, it will decide the future of that franchise. They cannot expect the same success for their follow up compared to a game that spans three console generations. I’m surprised they haven’t made a GTA V movie

GTA Online standalone will probably continue over next 10 years probably and with map and content expansions I don't really see anything else rivaling it, it's too big and well established at this point that even after 7 years it's reaching new record highs.

Exactly. Then to say they will take that money and put it into VI which let’s be honest, most of us here will most likely say was well not worth the wait? Makes no sense.

Agent is such an anomaly, interesting it has never been taken from the site despite other games having been. Would be amazing to see it this gen. There's been noise about Sony paying Rockstar huge amounts of money for exclusivity deals so I'd love to see it surface. I know the trademark has been abandoned, that's a fact. But it's been 13 years now since it was teased, a lot changes and there's no reason to think it can't be operating under a new name. But it's been so long though. Doubtful.

Guys its been said before but i am going to say it again for the new posters: Chris Liberty is NOT a leaker. He doesn't know anything.

 

Most of his posts seem click baity to me. He is a member of the French Rockstar mag but that's about it. 

 

Yan used to leak stuff, now his guesses are as good as mine.

 

Tez looks at the game files and can spot some stuff ( like a file called project americas in Rdr2 which is the alleged codename for Gta vi ) but is NOT a leaker.

 

There is not ONE person in this forum that knows anything at all. 

They can act cool and almighty with "hints" but at the end of the day you either know something and leak it or you don't. 

 

Also any past huge video game leak( like Rdr 2 map ) isn't cryptic or "hidden" behind a riddle. Its simple in your face info. 1 2 3 boom.

 

Any other "predictions" are simply out of luck or random ( you know what i am talking about... )

 

Sure i could post 500 posts per month right now in this topic or a "tumbleweed" topic ( or a "palm tree" topic to be precise ) and when Gta vi comes out i can come back to this topic find relevant stuff i was lucky enough to guess from my 500 monthly posts.

 

 

For me the only trustworthy leak was last years location scout document. Anything else is either extremely questionable to gibberish.

Its pretty weird that rockstar didn't drip feed the contents for summer update. Maybe they're getting ready for an announcement this october?

Would be stupid for them, but still a good guess. Combined maps from V and VI in a standalone Online is what comes to my mind.

The key point is that it will be boring to play our current Online. People need re-imagined Online, deeper and wiser for options to customise (vehicles, properties, businesses, characters), places and interiors to visit and explore. 
I also doubt that re-launched GTA5 will be identical to GTA6 (environment and overall detalisation)

It’s pretty Interesting what we will get and how R* will play it.

From the other side, it’s cool to get everything on a day one. 
GTA6 announcement should be only after relaunched GTA5 on next gen.

He found his old PS2 and decided to play Vice City, GTA III, and probably a lot of older PS2 games. It's nothing.

 

At least Ned Luke plays the games. A lot of GTA actors don't.

dont see lc if if is a modern sized tittle lc i think will be the map expansion this year despite that unpopular opinion being told im wrong could be but lets see. 

 

it will be vice city even if you dont think any leak is real  its the only major city not to have got an hd remake dont count lv and sf if rocktar wanted to bring them back they would have brought them back in five  . 

would temper expectations with vice city we could only get a map the size of gta 4 maybe probably a bit bigger but a bit smaller then gta v miami merto area likely and maybe the everglades

I can only imagine the amount of people that they would piss off with this. I don't mind it as long as it is not San Andreas or Liberty City (or any other city that resembles New York). Wish we got some vague teaser about the next location though. Kinda like the "Liberty City, it's over!" thing.
