That was customary in the 3D era though. If I were in their shoes I wouldn't go into the deal if Online was made available within the first few days of release.

Jokes aside, I know R* wouldn't do GTA as a exclusive title, (maybe smaller titles they would) but it would probably range around the 1 billion dollar range just because the of profit margin that is possible with Multiplatform releases.So to make up for the earning potency that greedy f*ck strauss would probably sell out a little over 1 billion dollars. "No doubt in my mind" like uncle rico would say.

Here's the thing. GTA is and always has been timed exclusive. First it was PS2, before coming to PC, then Xbox. Then it was consoles before coming to PC (With DLC being first on Xbox 360). And IF the rumours turn out to be true, PS5 before coming to Xbox & PC.

So, it really wouldn't be anything 'new'.

 

But yes, it's still hard to believe it'd happen. But if Sony want to win the generation, that's a very, VERY expensive instant-win button...

Hey Pete,

 

I doubt, that Sony would be interested in one week of exclusivity. I don't know if there is even any exclusivity deal and even if I would know, I wouldn't post it anywhere. Things like this are highly confidential until they are announced. Not to mention, that we are talking here about 2 biggest players in the gaming industry.

Why would they ever say anything about GTA 6, until the enhanced enhanced version of GTA 5 is released next year? The whole GTA 5 for PS5 thing would buried, we would all be just hyperventilating and speculating about GTA 6 and nothing else.
