Bashing YouTubers and making the topic about it (or any other kind of antagonism) will net you a warning for derailing the topic.

 

Please use some common sense too while discussing subjects, don't delve too deep into speculating about people's personal lives (e.g. Houser departure from R*, Rockstar developers, etc.) as they deserve privacy and not a raging fan forum to make up things about them. Needless to say, any hate will be quickly nipped in the bud.

people buying PS5 because of GTA6= more people on PS ecosystem= more PS+ members (if you want to play GTA6 online) = $$$

plus they make money for every copy of the game/ANY game (not as much as PS+ tho)

If Sony does have some kind of Exclusive deal with R* for GTA 6. 

 

I think GTA 6 will still end up on PC at the very least.

 

Just like with Death Stranding, Detroit/Heavy Rain and Horizon: Zero Dawn.

 

So PC players shouldn't worry too much. Though it would probably be a year or 2 after the PS5 version comes out.

it wil be Timed exclusive at best, Im 100% sure that there will be XSX/PC port/version

Probably could be how the old GTA's were on the PS2 where they were exclusive for a year then put on XBOX and PC. 

 

But Sony may be trying to get it only on PS5 and not XSX.

heh, I remember first coming around here shortly before the gta 4 announcement. I tell you, no matter what you thought of each game, nothing matches the hype of a Grand Theft Auto announcement. Good times by all.

So True man. Not many other games have the Hype level GTA brings. I wasn't a user on this forum back then (though I did browse it from time to time) but I remember in 2006/2007 the hype surrounding the first screenshots of GTA 4 and how R* was being secretive about the shooting mechanics and people thinking Niko was middle eastern when the first trailer hit. Ahh Good times...

 

Glad I have fast internet now. Downloading screenshots on dial up was a pain.

They definitively are in development hell with this one, obviously caused by the departure of Houser and Benzies, both in similar circumstances.

 

It will be probably the first mediocre Grand Theft Auto of the new millennium, Rockstar Games are too ocuppied stealing money from the stupid kids that play GTA online that they don't care anymore about making fun games and writting good characters.

 

RDR2 was saved because Houser and Benzies were still there, and still the game was boring as f*ck, all they cared about was having a high Metacritic score and a robust online mode to keep selling stupid MTX mechanics.

I want to ask a question why you guys are speculating for Gta 6 !!!!! its still years away for Gta 6 if rockstargames didn’t canceled It already They seems are taking Maps , missions to release it on Gta 5 , Do you think they will announce gta 6 anytime soon before 2024 of course not they are not stupid to announce gta 6 on 2021 and Gta 5 will be released On 2021

My best bet will be 5th October 2020 gta6 announcement cause UK follows day month year format unlike month day year format of USA.Also mafia 1 remaster was announced 2 weeks before and going to be released around 25 September.See their new announcement and release pattern.The 510 service thing is going to be real on 5th October 2020 I guess
