There is one thing I would love to see in next GTA, that you can find in this qa tester "leak".

There a reason why those games were subtitled. Its because both of that games were intended as expansions for gta 3 and explanations for the events happened in gta 3. I don't think they'll go back to subtitled game again unless they introduce new gta cities

Back in those days DLCs didn't exist. I don't believe the expansion to GTA 3 stuff. I think they meant expansion to the series.

 

I really really hope they go back to subtitles. When they get to superbowl/final fantasy numbers it just looks ugly imo. Even if we wait 10-15 years between games these days.

 

It's just that VI looks perfect. They need to save it.

DLC's did exist back in the day. It was called as expansions at that time and sold separately. That's why ppl call san andreas and vice city as expansions

They were main games though. Just like how Ubisoft has gone with Assassin's creed phasing out numbers and going with subtitles instead.

 

San Andreas is not an expansion. The only reason why people keep on calling them expansions is because of a German magazine article  released around that time that probably got lost in translation and they called it expansion instead of new game or whatever.

San Andreas is not an expansion.

I don't think anyone is calling it an expansion but more like "rockstar meant it as expansions". They continued the universe through recurring characters to explain the back stories
