I feel sorry for the State of Play streamers. They're running these all off of mp4s like any real game company would, but Rockstar decided to send their GTA 6 preview on a Laserdisc. The coffee boy in the back room thought it was like a futuristic plate and cooked my steak on it. Sam Houser walked by to drop off a Laserdisc player, and lost all his air at seeing me eat off what I thought was my plate.

 

No GTA 6 this year

 

Edit: I meant to say Sam lost all his hair (we thought it was Dan for a sec), but I guess our stupidity left him breathless too

I think they're just trying to get it out the door. It looks very similar to a PS4 game imo I don't see the PS5 difference at all.

Sorry again about no GTA previews. We queued up everyone's favorite "I guess it was the weather..." trailer, but that got delivered on an unplayable avi file. The Laserdisc GTA VI preview would have been neat, I think they sent it that way because it's supposed to be set in the 80s. Ah well, not our fault Rockstar can't keep up with the current trends

And how is this surprising? They literally just released a new trailer wihich starts with this sentence, and it was memed to hell on the internet, so it's not really a surprise this "7 years old sentence" is still very much alive on people's minds.

 

What would be surprising is if someone dropped a "Respect is Everything" line and everyone knew what is related to.

I wonder if a more elaborate behavioural system would bring more depth and engagement. So this system will be a combination of mood, personality, skills and physique/health. All these factors will affect the player’s in-game performance.

 

Mood will have temporary influences of behaviour performances, including driving, combat and stamina. Mood could be affected by the time of the day, what food the player has eaten in-game and in-game events the player experiences. Could include various mood gauges/aspect. 
 

Personality can be developed from what the player usually does in-game and what in-game hobbies the player has. Could include many personality aspect. 
 

Skills are obviously developed straightforward skill development and partly from hobbies. 

 

Physique/health can affected by many things, like in-game diet, events and hobbies. Could include factors like blood pressure, fat level, muscle level, stamina.

 

All these factors will translate into various in-game performance index. Basically, what the players does/experience in-game has consequences, either big or small.

 

For example: enjoying desserts in-game will temporarily improve the character’s mood by improving some moods gauges and suppressing some other mood gauges. The character will be more likely to have a pleasant negotiation, but will have worse situation awareness and reaction speed. Has no real effect on personality. Long-term bad eating habits will have long-term effect on mood and health/physique.

all the people asking about gta 6 on rockstargames twitter posts is giving me a headache, they just tweet what isn't related to the topic smh.they are all retards , Please stop asking for gta 6 on every single Rockstar twitter post they make It’s gta related or not, like damn it annoys the sh*t outta me and I’m sure it’s 100x worse for rockstar. They read replies but not everyone. On twitter they care more about getting what they post on trending and how many likes or retweets it gets. Their marketing department doesn't really care if people spam them with "gta6" during every single post. In fact I think it helps them.

 

Their marketing department probably has experts and sh*t with charts and graphs about what they want to do. You gotta look at it from the business side not the fan side.
