What the hell did I just read? I love when publishers try to justify them being greedy... I can pay 69,99$ for games like RDR 2 or next GTA but for NBA? No way.

Well outside of GTA and R* titles NBA 2k does bring in a lot of money for Take Two. They help keep the lights on in between those years when R* stays silent and does nothing. Take Two also recently renewed their deal with the NBA and that probably cost a lot to renew that license they have to pay the NBA $1.1 Billion over 7 years lol.

The industry is in a serious trouble if we always complain one is too broken away from the reality, and the other is too realistic with its stereotypes. Sad to see nothing can bring true excitement now as we can't disregard our own sexual principles when it comes to video games.

The best thing about this price rise is, that they (publishers) won't remove microtransactions. In fact, you will see even more of them in future games. I'm so happy about that.

If people expect a $10 increase for videogames to make all these sh*tty tactics disappear then they're in for a rude awakening

There are literally riots every year whenever the new 2k releases. People attack Ronnie2k and go for his throat for all the terrible marketing and lies lol.

I'm so depressed by the fact that, realistically, we'll have to wait for 2022 for an announcement of GTA VI.

I don't think R* will announce GTA VI in the first year of GTA V for PS5.

I reckon we're not far from the day when a AAA title costs $100 as standard.

 

Isn't it crazy to think that about four decent games (then if you include a few extra add-on packs etc.) might soon cost about the same as a new console?

Again, I don't think it would make sense to announce GTA VI, just a few months after the release of V for PS5.

Rockstar is surely aiming to build a new community on PS5 and quite a few new GTA Online players will come, therefore I don't imagine them announcing a new game in the series.

2022 is more reaslistic, although I would love to be suprised.
