Huhhhh i think it's been a couple of months since they revealed that Volition was working on a new Saints Row game and that it wasn't a surprise announcement

Back in the day rockstar was really active on social media and having fun with fans but today they are more serious than anyone else

It's nice when they're more active, but it tends to be a bit too sporadic or intermittent. They have been a bit more active recently and the community managers have been joining fan streams as well, I guess cos they're working from home and it's a bit easier. Hopefully they do more of it though.

I think that was more a case of Sam having a go at the BBC, rather than 'old Rockstar being more active' though.

they recently did a post featuring art from the community, however. Which is nice.

I understand your point but that doesnt make a game sh*tty imo. I respect people who says IV was better than V but calling GTA V sh*t doesnt really make sense Im pretty sure I didnt enter 80 percent of the buildings in gta IV. Just reskin apartment buildings if you ask me. Nothing interesting. I think people are so hyped for gta 6 that they simply cant get satisfied with gta V anymore

GTA 4 was getting a lot of disrespect back in 2012/13 when the new game was coming out. People just kinda like to hate and nitpick newer games while propping up the old ones as better. Nostalgia is a huge factor in that, I remember everyone complained about the lack of features in IV and how San Andreas was a much bigger game, now that doesn't seem to matter to anyone anymore as time goes on. In five years, GTA V will have a grown reputation, similar to IV now.

When IV came out people said SA is better, same happened with IV and V. Probably similar thing will happen with VI too.

IMO SA was the most complete game among them and I got the same feeling with RDR2 so yes, I'm hyped for GTA6.

Agreed..GTA IV was quite the divisive GTA game but in the past few years it has been getting more appreciation here and reddit as well from what I have seen. I think the same will likely happen with GTA V. People's expectations are too high for every new GTA game so it takes a while to appreciate them

Exactly. IV's problem of limitation (small map, few customization options) was a huge complaint back in the day, but now that we have V with it's massive world and customization, those problems don't matter as much in IV now. Now, we can play IV and enjoy it's linear game play for what it is. I'm not trying to hate on IV, it's amazing, and my third favorite GTA game.

The problem with GTA games is they add good features and instead of improving them in the next game they take it away and try something new. Hopefully with GTA VI we see the best features from all the previous make a return while being improved example 

GTA Vice City- 80s Vice City, Buying businesses ,  
GTA San Andreas - Clubbing, Gym, Gain weight, Multiple apartments and houses , Gang wars, Burglary, Jetpacks,   
GTA IV - Enterable hospitals, Clukin bell , Car Physics, Transit system , Emergency Response (GTA IV was more realistic than GTA V), Story DLC, Comedy clubs, Dates
GTA V - Enterable banks, More than one playable character, Stranger and Freak Missions, Cinema 

That's all I could think off the top of my head but I'm sure these is more

Enterable banks in V? Aside from heists you can't enter them again.
