Rockstar REALLY needs to visit a past era if they want to release a new Gta without any limitations.

 

People tend to forget the past so they could do anything in a 80s era setting.

Yeah, and that's why they release GTAV GTAO for PS5 instead of RDR2.

RDR 2 will be backward compatible, they can improve the graphics with simple patch, no need for remaster

Although police brutality, particular toward people of color, has been a problem throughout America's history really. It's on camera more often now. Whichever decade the game takes place, this problem existed.

I love how Dan isn’t in any of the photos with his family. Even the photo with his wife driving the boat with the kids, he’s nowhere in sight. You’d think it would be him driving....

The Housers famously don't like the public eye. In the buildup to GTA V, it was very difficult to even find a modern/recent photo of either of them. Post GTA V it's been a little more common. But still, you don't see them or hear their voices very often. I don't even think there's a recording of Leslie Benzies voice out there. In an interview with CVG in 2013, they weren't allowed to play the audio, they had to read the transcript.

I thought it's maybe after Redemption 3, or GTA7. Aaah, maybe this doesn't sound as edgy and meme-ical.

 

The most likely scenario is that T2, and as a result R*, will grow in market capitalization over the years and as GTA6 approaches release, which will likely be another story-based, genre-defining title that will pave the way for a new, unparalleled crime-themed Online offering like no other in market. What's the alternative product with a competitive quality? None. Grand Theft Auto is too intimidating and it has essentially cornered the market of its genre for itself. EA? ATVI? Do you really think that these two publishers will be able to compete in that area? 

 

Maybe it's time to drop the memes and think for one second.

Thats what activision did. They were all set to publish True Crime Hong Kong but then believed that they'd lose money on it and canceled it. Square Enix stepped in and bought the rights to it except the name and we got Sleeping Dogs.

Yeah, I remember. I loved True Crime Streets of LA/NY. Never got round to playing Sleeping Dogs, though. Is it still technically part of that 'universe'? Or was it separated and became its own thing?
