dont know how this prove this is real. 

rockstar did this for two reasons one a cash grab and two to set the seeds if you will i think for there ultimate gta world online going forward . 

for people worrying about 6 i would not worry at all this has nothing to do with 6 rockstar are a huge  games company and can work on different projects. 

if 6 is delayed it is because of the current pandemic not this .  

 

but people need to lower there expectations for 6 it will be a smaller game than we thought a huge map yes the map is the easiest part of making the game it is the mo cap for missions script writing for that thats the hard part. 

 

but the story will be short probably around gta v or vice city length .

gta 6 is being built i would be certain now with the idea of porting the map to this new online with gta fives map 6 wont launch with online it will be a separate thing . 

 

with gta online on its own it can be done trouble with five and why we never got a map expansion for me was the sync issues between switching to sp and online with that gone . 

rockstar can do one big online world and milk it for i would hate to think how long we will 6 being honest i think we are only getting 6 still because the script was done a few years ago. 

 

dont expect another one after 6 this will be it i am certain .

the best moment of the sony event was right at the beginning, when the R* logo popped up, and for like 2 seconds you feel like "its happening (gta 6)", but 2 seconds later you hear the voice of ned luke gg

What i think is interesting is that GTA Online is becoming a Stand alone title next year , this is interesting because i can't understand why they'd do this after so many years of release unless they for preparing a Next Gta title for release in that case this makes sense , as they wouldn't have to make a full new online mode built from scratch again rather they can just keep updating Gta online with new maps expansions and content sort of make it like Fortnite with each new seasons , completely changing the game , i think they might have a very different plan for GTAO & GTA 6 than we all think

Hi guys. Ok, I want to share with you my thoughts after yesterday’s event. I was reading news before and maybe we are taking this thing too seriously. I mean... we have every reason to be furious with R*, but, as somebody said before, maybe this was just a way to separate GTA Online from the story mode, in order to have only one team working on it. And probably this is a good thing because this means GTA VI will receive the attention it needs to be developed to the best possible way. Also, making GTAO a stand-alone it’s kinda strange and this could mean that it will be some kind of expandable world that will be updated even after GTA VI. My only hopes are that we could see an announcement next year after the porting is released.

Heh considering how many people ( sadly ) hate Black Album, Load, ReLoad, I won't be surprised that a majority of people just wanted MoP over and over. I always respect them for having balls for trying something new.

I know I feel the same way. I didn’t finish my post and accidentally submitted it. Yesterday was really awful, and I expected it in some way, but when I saw the trailer I thought it was just going to be a promotional trailer for what is the bestselling game of the generation. What I didn’t expect is the fact that it’ll be enhanced and expanded and that it’ll take more than a year to be launched, I thought it’d come as a launch title for the PS5. However, I hope that this re-remastering could mean something that we can’t know yet and that maybe this can be a way to introduce and announce GTA VI. But these are just my hopes.

I’ve time travelled from the year 2100, they just announced a release of an updated and enhanced version of GTA 5 for the PS16. GTA 6 is still some years away.

Rockstar at one point did say how they want online (dont @ me on that i have a small memory they said something to that degree in an interview) to be standalone and add every city in it. This could be step one towards that. 

I wouldn't be suprised if it was a thing if they're taking a year with the release. I mean what else could they be working on for an entire year? Fixing the spaghetti-code? And yeah don't forget about the Amazon listings. 6 listings (3 games) when they only announced V and Standalone Online for next-gen? What about the third?
