Imagine your driving down the neighbourhood and you get a notification that a death match is taking place nearby, with an option to join in or not.

 

As for co-op unless it ends up like the co-op in San Andreas, can't see it happening.

Yeah millions play, doesn't mean it's not outdated. Even 4 years ago it was painful to get decent sized deathmatch lobby going. Shouldn't be a problem in a game that popular.

You can forget a GTA VI announcement for this month, it's just a bad time to announce it right now. Also I gues they don't want the announcement to come close to RDO and GTAO DLC's, which we probably (hopefully) get some sort of information of this month.

PC version will arrive a year later after Xbox and Playstation.

I say they don't kill GTAO after GTAVI online...because GTA VI Online will be something else for sure!

Dude have you tried to join a friend? have you tried to play heist with random players? everything you want to do you should watch F*cking loading screen for 5mins!( GTAO loading is not related to HDD or SSD thing it's because of trash servers and dumb netcodes) 
All i want to say is play other online games GTAO sucks! (i'm rank 300 in gtao but i'm honest with you it's my opinion GTAO is so outdated! RDO is so much better but no big content in the game...i can't wait for PS5 ... and then i can play RDO''s new contents in PC!)

Rockstar would rather do some kind of online story than ruin single player story for the sake of pushing online further. Story is second most important thing for R*, first is living world. Housers care mostly about singleplayer. If they would be focused on Online then you would never see Oppressor MK II in GTA Online.

I agree there will be major changes, but the fundamentals of GTAO1 will still be there. You don't just completely throw away the blueprint to an online component that successful.

 

I'm most excited about the prospect of a stripped down GTAO2 at launch that goes back to the basics of street crime. I will try to cherish that time before they slowly start throwing an abundance of explosives and militaristic gear to sell some shark cards.
