They give props to the looters and rioters. But don’t show all the good peaceful protests that have been happening in many different places.  They are pushing a narrative to try to split people up.  The country was unified on this problem before criminals started destroying and stealing stuff.  The media took advantage of this to try to split people up.  The only thing any one can really do to bring change to this issue is to VOTE.

Its bs in my opinion. Don't get me wrong i think what happened to Mr Floyd was one of the worst acts of violence i ever seen on video. When i first watched it i was feeling sick for 30 minutes and i hope his soul rests in peace and of course i hope the killer gets the punishment he deserves.

 

But what does playstation have to do with it? We had an atrocious year so far. 2019 for me was the best year Personally, financially, everything.

 

2020 is literally like the Armageddon.... And we need something to occupy our minds, something to get excited about. And the one thing that could make people happier this week gets postponed.

It seems, that you don't understand anything. It's not just about Mr Floyd but rather what is happening all over US. Miami, Los Angeles, New York, Washington and so on and on.

The core strength of these protests comes from people's  social media and they are sharing lots and lots of protests from all over the world including lots of peaciful protests.

George Floyd was the breaking point. To downplay his death because bad things have happened to others is a lack of empathy.(Not attacking you. Speaking in general.)

 

And some are confusing the protesters as criminals, rioters, or looters. The ones out protesting peacefully are trying to negate the ones coming to simply stir up trouble. Horrible people are disguising themselves as other groups and orgs and are behind most of the damage. Protesters are finding random piles of bricks on street corners to trigger destruction. 

 

Simply put. There's an agenda being played that some are fighting and others are ignoring.

Gamestops and many stores that sell playstation consoles and games are getting looted. The US is their largest market.

I live in Europe so i am not really up to date with the situation on the US. I mean i knew that they had a problem with the riots but from what i understand its probably bigger and broader than i thought.

It's very very big. Past few days have been rough there are riots in every major American city. Trump wants to activate the military. But enough about politics and riots I think we really don't want to talk about this in this section of the forum.

I can understand why sony postponed the event. It will take the spotlight away from the riot. Sony can do the event anytime this month but protests like this won't come that often. So lets honour the cause and wait for a while.

I will honor the respectful and peaceful protesters.  However I would never stand for criminals on the loose robbing, destroying property and beating people to death.  It’s not right.  It’s not what George Floyd would have wanted.  It doesn’t get anyone anywhere. God forbid people watch one hour of a Sony conference to get their mind off of it.  We don’t have to let the bullsh*t happening in the world (which happens daily) consume our lives.  (BTW, I play on Xbox so idc about the Sony presentation.  It’s just the logic and reasoning of it just doesn’t add up) Just my opinion, please refrain from calling me names.  I’m done talking about this off topic subject.
