Such a huge gap between 5 and 6 is terrible

In 2015 - 2016, people assumed that GTA6 will be in 2019, someone thought that in 2020, time passed, nothing happened, but from January 2019 - April 2020 there was a lot of hype around GTA6, insiders, possible leaks, a preacher, etc. , many began to think that we are close, if not in the spring, then in the fall - in the winter of 2021 for sure! But at the end of the main hype, things began to appear saying that GTA, apparently, would not be soon ...

And today, if I may say so, it is confirmed that the GTA we will see in 2023-2024 ...

This is very unpleasant, such a big leap in production time ... I hope they show us an excellent, well-developed, optimized and good game.

Perhaps some people endure it hard only because the main interval between GTAs was 4-5 years, and here it is 2 times larger. I hope they announce and release a new GTA6 as soon as the right moment comes.

I get what you're saying but it really doesn't make any sense for it to be anything other than Gta 6 , yan and tez and even jason has said that it's "few years away" and if that 89 million isn't for gta 6 then the game isn't supposed to be out until after fiscal 2025 then how is it few years away then ?

Such projects take time to be honest, I don't know why everybody is complaining. Plus maybe they actually (chances are 5%) reduced the pressure on the employees.

Completely took off and missed the point, GTA V marketing was by itself more than that, IMO it's way more likely to be a non R* game than a R* game,

Where does Schreier say that GTA VI is "few years away"?

The only statement from him I know, is that the game is in "early development" and that is not the same

it wouldn't be as bad if we had something in the meantime. We had plenty of spin-offs in between GTA SA/IV and IV/V. V/VI however, we got f*ck all.

Yeah i get that but then we are to believe that R* isn't a releasing a game untill Fiscal 2026 , it just doesn't make too much sense for it to be a non R* game imo

Why wouldn't it release prior to fiscal '26? marketing rise is usually before the launch, grows more and more as we approach the release, they could def announce it in 2022 and release it in 2023-2024, you can't really know that.
