Wasn't he the guy who went to R* NY and made a rant or something in front of the building? I could have sworn someone did a video like that a long time ago.

I'd rather have a new IP or anything else. Racing games are bland, it literally boils down to "Hold W to win, steer at the right time" with the occasional "customize your car so it goes VRMMMMMMMM instead of VRRRRRRRRRRM".

I see a lot of people saying GTA IV is better than GTA V because it had this that V didn't have and vice versa. So hopefully the GTA6 will be a mix of features of both games but also including some stuff we haven't seen before. I believe one of the features they will add will be real time hair and beard growth like they done in RDR2.

 

Also, remember the times Saints Row made fun of GTA IV?

I have finished V once a again like 1 or 2 month ago and last week I finished IV again.

 

And IV is definetely not better than V. IV has way better physics, driving, vehicle damage and NPC AI + behaviour. I also like the tone of the story and the story itself is okay (not great but a little better than V).

V has way better graphics (well... of course), better missions (yes, most scripted but it leads to way more variety) and a better map with more variety. GTA IV was pure city which became boring after a while. TLAD also only had a few special mssions (shotgun escape + prison).

 

Overall V wins easily. At least for me.

I don't understand what the people's problem with R* shark cards? You can play the whole online without giving them a dime and get everything in the game just by playing, and don't forget they almost every time they give free cash, cars, etc. This just feels blown out proportion imo.

I've never understood it and I'd be the first person to call other companies out for taking the piss with their microtransactions. Rockstar definitely aren't on that level. There is Double Cash and RP for a game mode every week (Triple rewards lately also) and just a lot of opportunities to make money. Some of the stuff is expensive but at the end of the day, it isn't real life...

Easy. Because online is designed to make you suffer making $$$. Seems like R* realized that many people complain about this problem and now they try to fix it by giving us free money. But the game's system of making money was always designed to make you want to buy more shark cards.

Suffer? It's fairly easy to make money in GTA Online nowadays.

Many kids nowadays want to have everything immediately (it's sign of internet era, I guess). Back in the days when I was playing MMO games with my friends (10 years - 15 years ago) we were really happy when there was event on server such as a "2x exp, 2x money" and those events lasted only few hours, not few days.

Not exactly, shark cards aren't the problem in the fact that they exist, they are the problem because basic design decision of Online are almost always butchered in more frustrating or Un-Fun way to make them more appealing,

 

Doing heist? Wouldn't it be a shame if whenever you took dmg you'd loose more money so it's impposible to ever have 100% amount of money without glitching or out of your way mission execution?

 

Selling cars? Wouldn't it be a shame if we implemented artificial cooldown timer so you can't be as efficient as you can and we gonna limit the amount of money you can make per hour to some arbital number we created, even though without it you'd be able to make a lot more money if you were skilled enough?

 

You just spend 5 Mil on a buisness? Wouldn't it be a shame if it was still locked down behind gated time mechanics, and frustrating design decided not to be fun, but to either slow down your money production process or borderline stop you in your tracks making you feel like you just wasted your previous ~3 hours because you got blown up to pieces by someone in mk2? (yes you can use solo public lobbies but it's workaround of something R* didn't intended)

 

Shark cards are sh*t because the gameplay is designed to be extremely frustrating without them, if all the money making activities were less focused on wasting your time and more on providing actually fun activities, the amount of people complaining about shark card would be a lot less.

 

As someone who's been playing online for quite some time now, i can tell you it's the most fun with friends when it is the Pure Gta only with more people so when doing fun missions and races, hell i would say some buisness would actually provide more fun with the same missions if the time to reward ratio was different or completely redesigned,
