Bashing YouTubers and making the topic about it (or any other kind of antagonism) will net you a warning for derailing the topic.

Please use some common sense too while discussing subjects, don't delve too deep into speculating about people's personal lives (e.g. Houser departure from R*, Rockstar developers, etc.) as they deserve privacy and not a raging fan forum to make up things about them. Needless to say, any hate will be quickly nipped in the bud.

Amazing movies I'm sure in fact ill add both to my list.

BUT Movies are heavily focused on narrative and condensed usually into two hours so of course in films it's amazing as it's different medium and pace of storytelling .Phone booth is also an amazing movie but a GTA set in just a phone booth in liberty city could never work

GTA has to go on for at least 30 hours with exploration and a host of interesting missions and activities. LV can't provide that by itself . Most missions would have to take place on the strip unless you know Vegas then maybe you could educate me in other areas of the city which would make an interesting playground.

I mean, that would be not bad at all, but thinking about how many games already made a tribute to San Francisco from older games to newer, i would really love to see more Las Venturas.

I don't know what Rockstar could do differently with Las Venturas aside from more interiors and interactivity. I feel like the design was perfect in GTASA but that's me.

The desert. The mafia hid bodies out there. R* could also add part of the Grand Canyon. The West rim is like about 2 hours away.

I don't get the obsession with big ass maps. You get a huge ass map but there's a lot of useless space yeah it's big but do you really visit every corner of the map? No.

Lots of reasons tbh. Of course there's such a thing as too big but quality over quantity when it comes to map sizes isn't as clear cut as "unused space = bad" IMO.

When the game involves travelling then map size gives scale and meaning to that travelling. RDR, GTA, especially SA and V have suffered from this a bit. They try and give the feeling of travelling far and there being great distance between locations but in reality it's often on the other side of the hill you crossed. It makes the world feel very small and makes the feeling of moving homebase not as impactful as it could've been.

There's also potential for story telling with bigger maps. For example, say, GTA V could've had a story where you get dumped into the middle of the desert. In GTA V that'd be pointless cause from virtually every position in the desert area you can see civilization, you're never far from a road. There's virtually no spot in GTA V's map that feels like it's middle of no where because of this. This is more of a niche thing of course, but large areas without any meaningful content aren't necessarily bad, they can still be meaningful to the world just by existing, you just obviously can't dot them around all over the place.

There's also potential for these "unused" areas long term with sandbox stuff in single player, or in online which is now obviously a huge part of GTA. More places for missions is not a bad thing.

FUEL is a good example of how not to do a large open world cause while each zone in that game has interesting and unique locations they are only typically small parts of those zones and there's too much dead space between them. But no dead or unused space would mean traversing the world to the cool locations would be meaningless. Might as well just allow fast travel from and to anywhere at that point, which as a mechanic has it's pros and cons.

IMO, there being locations the average player doesn't visit often isn't a bad thing. There's always gonna be hotspots and coldspots on the map, it's a futile thing to try and make every spot on the map useful.

I believe most people who want 70's LV want the mafia to be involved in someway with can provide more of for the story.

About the city and country side. I find the Blain County pretty amazing for driving and hanging around in Gta Online, but it doesn’t have much of a fun use in Gta V. I’d like to see that kinda fun in Gta Next’s singleplayer.

I spend a lot of time there because Los Santos is dangerous and I don't get blown up every 5 seconds.

Take in a boxing fight. Watch two guys go head to head better yet place some money on the fight. Fix the fight threaten a fighter to lose the fight or you'll break his legs or worse. Boxing has always been pretty dirty with some fighters even owing debts to the mob and losing fights intentionally in order to pay off their bills. If it's modern day you can have both MMA and Boxing.

Hookers! Nevada is the only state in the United States where Prostitution is legal. Go visit a brothel just outside of Venturas for some under the sheets fun.

Of course the main attraction. The Casinos. Blow all your money in one night or become a millionaire in hours.

Have some fun in the city of Sin.

Yea in terms of activities they could do in the city, Las Venturas/Vegas is one of the more bountiful cities they could pick. My worry is they'd make it heist centric again and while the heist missions for me are always the best series of missions in GTA games that was kinda intended to be GTA V's shtick so a repeat, even tho I'd still play the sh*t out of it, would be a bit flat for me. That being said, casino heists and all the potential they have there does get me going. Could go full Ocean's 11 these days and do things like rob a casino during a boxing fight and sh*t, or when the casino has a big thing going and it's packed. So much potential for heists like that on modern hardware.

A Las Venturas setting would be a terrible decision.

My problem with Las Vegas is that, outside of the strip, it's really not that interesting. I'm sure there are intriguing crime statistics, etc, and rough neighbourhoods, but nothing really jumps out and grab you other than the one main street and casinos. I just don't see it as a main series entry. If Rockstar were still making single-player DLC, GTAV would have been the perfect opportunity for a Venturas DLC (casino heists, close proximity to Los Santos, etc). The desert surrounding Vegas could actually be awesome, with Hoover Dam and Bone County or whatever they want to call it, maybe even going all the way to the Grand Canyon - I think they could really nail the desolate, badlands vibe with a lot of old mining ghost towns dotted everywhere.

vice city is perfect for GTA VI

- The car scene is in Florida rn, alot of custom cars and street racing

- U have alot of race tracks in FL and S.C

- FL was one of the states that choose D.T as the president, perfect scenario to make stories

- FL is not only miami beach, u also have the Bayou (swamps), Key west, racetracks, beaches, little habana, Disneyworld, Yatchs, Alot of canals between the city (perfect to travel with speedboats)

- FL has a Tram wich makes it unique to travel

- FL is close to Cuba, the bahamas and latin america in general

- drug trade was heavy to FL from Colombia back in the 80's, even tho is better if they focus on modern day.

Making it into the past and in another city would be a mistake

True. But Vegas is really tiny. You would be in the desert the whole time if you do any type of driving

Made a HUD. I hope they bring cores back.

It's a system which finally gives items their own advantages or disadvantages. Do you go to Burgershot for a quick health boost? Or do you drive across town to a steakhouse for some health and strength bonuses?

I feel like they’re trying so desperately to hold on to their remaining fame from V. But it does make you wonder. They must have had all the DLC developed already when they told us they had more in-store for story mode in ‘14. Maybe they’ve been saving it for a rainy day...

It's beyond my imagination how you can call your studio Royal Circus Games

I honestly think it’s a jab at rockstar
