But remember that Red Dead 2 was under development for 8 years and GTA 6 might have been restarted/reimagined at some point (at least I think it was).

Do not really know more. Just that he is working on some character animations for Mafia 1. He is not speaking about it a lot, I just heard him during the call how he was complaining about some bug when he called with his colleagues

No, it didn't. The last info we got was from yan few years ago, it's in development. No news from this moment, even yan doesn't know more about its development stage. If anything, Bully 2 will have short but intense marketing campaign (Rockstar released first Bully trailer 2 months before game release).

2 years from now...announcement this year to tell us that they are working on it...then release it two years once it is finished...remember how old GTA V was when they announced RDR2? that's right around now so that's my personal guess

I agree with this sentiment... I see them waiting some time into next gen to release. Especially with Online doing as good as it has been.

Current gen is running on 10 year old tech. regardless how much power an another console has over the other. Facts, where is the jump? FPS? is the new rad among gamers. Which is a good thing? but its dependent on what demographic it is. I personally only want quality in games regardless how pretty it looks or how much FPS it provides.

People seem to forget that with video game graphics there is a ceiling since you can go basically to photorealistic and that's it. IMO we're really close to that, probably the next console will be able to do such things (10 years away).

 

The thing is we're getting into some serious hardware power which can get rid of those pesky loading screens and would be able to  render the world in general at a much bigger scale.
