Bashing YouTubers and making the topic about it (or any other kind of antagonism) will net you a warning for derailing the topic.

 

Please use some common sense too while discussing subjects, don't delve too deep into speculating about people's personal lives (e.g. Houser departure from R*, Rockstar developers, etc.) as they deserve privacy and not a raging fan forum to make up things about them. Needless to say, any hate will be quickly nipped in the bud.

Next Gen consoles would probably be able to handle Star Citizen so only a Rockstar game at the end of next gen would be comparable to it tbh. And GTA6 hasn't yet been announced, so we don't know exactly what and how much it's gonna bring to table.

It makes no sense to compare Star Citizen with GTA. Also, while the idea of Star Citizen is ambitious, the game is infested with bugs and is still nowhere near to being even remotely finished. I doubt it will ever be finished, actually.

New article from Jason Schreier in the NYTimes about the effects of coronavirus on the gaming industry and the development of new games. They are not talking about Rockstar or anything, but you can assume this applies to them as well with developing GTA 6.

It was postponed because of corona, but will still be announced in the middle of corona. Why would they then have postponed it in the first place? That doesn't make any sense.

No, he said he knew something was about to happen in early 2020 but with what is happening in the world, plans seems to have been changed.

Also there is a bit of misinformation, I read on reddit that he leaked the departure of dan which is 100% false as he said himself it wasn't planned nor by T2 or rockstar for him to leave. The staff at north knew his departure at the same time as us. What he said though in 2019 was that he heard relations between rockstar and t2 weren't in the best term recently.

I think Red Dead because DLC hasn’t been coming for 4 months. GTA Online DLC had arrived 2 months ago.
