I've never played Manhunt. That game scares me.

-I used to play The Lemmings as a kid, but it took me years to realise R* (Then DMA Design) were the developers for it.

-I still have an almost brand new Xbox copy of Manhunt before it was banned in Australia.

-I have purchased a copy of every GTA atleast twice on varying platforms.

-Unlike others I don't really share enthusiasm for a Bully sequel. I liked Bully, but never really felt a sequel was warranted.

-I prefer Max Payne 3 over Max Payne 1 and 2.

-Probably already have an idea of this already, but I generally prefer R*'s darker and grittier games over their more light hearted ones.

-I feel R* still needs to do a full fledged horror game as it's one genre that seems to be missing from their line up. Something Resident Evil or Silent Hill like.

Here's my confession: I'm slowly losing my interest in Rockstar Games. Their obsession with online is just too much for me. I thought RDR2 was going to change that, but I was wrong. Also, the way they handle RDOnline is one big epic fail. How is it possible that the most important things (pitching your camp, wildlife, fast travel, ...) still aren't fixed 1,5 years after release?! I've honestly never played a game this broken before. If this is the future for Rockstar Games, then God help us all. For years, I thought they were the best game developers in the world, but now I don't think so. I'm not even sure I'll buy their next games anymore.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not hating on RDOnline. I really wanted to like it. I spent hundreds of hours playing it, but I give up. The amount of broken stuff is just too much.

I sincerely believe Bully: Scholarship Edition is the best R* game (I don't count Remedy's Max Payne and Team Bondi's L.A. Noire).

I did not have fun playing Bully. At all. I kept thinking it was going to get good at some point but then the game ended.

Grand Theft Auto 5 and 4 are the only Grand Theft Auto games I've completed story wise, SA and VC Mostly free roamed in. I also broke a XBOX 360 remote a couple of years back when playing Midnight Club:Los Angeles out of anger, the rubberbanding A.I really pissing me off.

Lol, whenever I see users avatars of Arthur looking all thoughtful or introspective I gotta resist the urge to punch the screen, (just like I had to do for your post ) for some reason, that thoughtful face gets on my nerves ah (no offense anyone, maybe I just have sh*tty taste lol)

Also I didn't play RDR2 and I'm sure Arthur is a great guy, but for me John will always be the man. I'm just irrational that way :p

i lost faith in rockstar after GTA V. it made me not interested in getting hyped or playing RDR2 at all. but after hearing that RDR2 has euphoria physics, a good story, and powerful gunshots (which were all things i missed in IV), i will give rockstar another chance, and get around to playing RDR2 eventually. i heard that this game has pointless details though, like starvation (which i found annoying in SA), involuntary facial hair growth (which i would find annoying for customization), and horse genitals (lmao). i'll see for myself once i play it, i'm in no hurry.

I strongly recommend RDR2. Even moreso now it's also available on PC. It's a great game trust me.:)

Before release I thought it was going to be like the "hunger" in San Andreas, but it's not like that at all since Arthur wont slowly die if he hasn't eaten. Infact I think the survival mechanics add a great deal of depth to the game without feeling like you need to always maintain.

I can understand with things hair growth if you have OCD or something, but I never felt like it was that annoying. It's hard to describe these things in plain text as it's one of those games you really have to experience for yourself, but if you really like a good strong story (that's why you're a fellow GTA IV/TLAD fan) with strong characters, excellent physics, brutal and satisfying shooting mechanics I can't recommend it enough.

Since I was bored I decided to watch the first couple of missions in RDR2 and I gotta say Arthur seems like a really charming dude. I won't watch the full story cause I don't want to spoil myself entirely but from the little I've seen he already seems pretty cool. Maybe I was a bit hasty in judging him.

Though I still feel his face is sorta punchable :p but he also comes across as easily likeable.

The approaches to multiplayer is way better in GTA IV and RDR1 than GTAO and RDO.

Although it's been a number of years since I played multiplayer in GTA IV and RDR1 as someone who doesn't play alot of multiplayer games I remember having a blast with them. I liked GTAO the first couple of years, but it started going down the sh*t shoot after the heist update.

Surprisingly I became more tired of RDO because it just stunk of GTAO all over. I think what made the multiplayer in GTA IV and RDR1 so successful atleast to me was their overall simplicity. There was no grinding for level progression, microtransations, ridiculous "themes" or anything like that.

For GTAO in GTA VI I hope R* employ a "classic" type mode reminiscent of GTA IV and RDR1 where we jump straight into a sandbox and just f*ck around. I don't like the model R* use for GTAO and RDO.

RDR2 has the best thing that V doesn't have. Crouching.

You are missing out a lot. Its best game ever made in my opinion. Piece of art. Seriously

Also i think Arthur is the best protagonist R* game has had.

My confession: I never played vice city back then, but when I finally did few years ago i only playd like 5 mission because it was so ugly looking and control were weird/hard. I think i removed it allready.

I think GTA San Andreas is still playable to this day and much better looking.

I lost my faith in R* with V.

I am more interested in Benzies' Everywhere than I am in GTA VI.

- I lost faith with R* when I was just 2 years old. But then, Dutch changed my life and I started believing again.

- I'm not a fan of games like Manhunt and The Warriors. They're just not my favorite.

I only happened to play Grand Theft Auto 3 after finishing San Andreas. It was a huge downgrade coming from SA back when I was younger, and so why I couldn't continue playing it. The reason is that I was a latecomer to PlayStation 2.

I did not play Grand Theft Auto 5 until 2015, and it was the PS4 remaster. I came into it knowing how the story will play out and was ready to be disappointed by the subpar writing. The reason is that I skipped video gaming for 4 years starting from 2011 in order to focus on more important things, and overall my interest in the medium has dramatically dropped since then outside of a few selection of titles, most notably from R*.

In ways I enjoyed Undead Nightmare more than RDR1 itself. Even if zombies have been done to death (Hah see what I did there?) R* made it work in such a way it felt unique. The setting was perfect. I remember all those times venturing in Tall Trees and being paranoid about getting jumped by undead Grizzlies and sh*t.

It was a short (but sweet) experience and probably one of the best zombie games I've ever played. It would've been nice if RDR1 also had a more grounded DLC, but it was still a nice diversion into a more surreal and "WTF?" kind of experience. It's a shame we'll probably never see something like that with RDR2 though.:(

It breaks my heart that Max Payne 3 is the only R* game that isn't backwards compatible on XB1 when every other R* game is post 2005 (including Table Tennis). Sometimes I go onto the page hoping it might've been added even though they stopped backwards compatibility some time ago. I guess it's denial. Still it makes me scratch my head as I would definitely still be playing it.
