While we wait for a potential Vice City return, I took some time to make a Miami level in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 on PS4. Anyone here playing this game? I feel like a kid again. Vicarious Visions really nailed this game. Here's a video of the level: "Miami" (PS4)

I installed Skate 3 today. Never played it before. I'm enjoying it. Looks great on Xbox SX. It's on Game Pass Ultimate since EA Play got added.

These games look fun and tempting, but since they started working on a potential Skate 4, I really want to hold out for that first.

I did like Tony Hawk Skateboarding 3, all after that i didn't care about somehow.

 

I did play TH1 and TH2 and TH3. Nothing else.

 

The music was awesome, and doing Madonnas, i never had an idea about skating, these games teached me that.

 

I will never skate in real life, nope i don't wanna break my bones for sport reasons.

 

Broke my right foot in march 2020, that was not cool at all. Like a half ton fell on it, it wasn't fun.

 

There was no rehab, because of the pandemic, i was at home for 3 months. That wasn't fun.

Thanks! I believe the created levels are restricted to the console they were created on, unfortunately. It's a shame.

fun anecdote; in the 80s when vert/transition skating was in it's peak and people were coming up with new tricks, they started naming those tricks outlandish names in order to garner attention - the Madonna was invented by Tony Hawk and named after the artist Madonna. The same trick but done in the opposite direction was named Sean Penn, as he was dating Madonna at the time.

Madonna was just a trick that came to mind lol. I liked a lot of moves, watching Tony Hawk doing a 900, damn that was fun to see. He was the master, and there is no doubt, he was the best skater of all times. He broke himself so many bones it's unbelievable.

 

It's just not my thing breaking so many bones.

 

I might start climbing rocks, or i go deep diving, but not skating. That is way too dangerous to me.

There's danger with everything, one wrong slip on a rock, or a dive too far can result in injury. I've been skating 10+ years and my only injuries broken bone wise have been fingers.
