I once helped a lvl 60 something do the last casino mission where you have to kill Avery Duggan on hard mode. He died like 20 times, but I was determined to help this kid. Anyway, we finally finish the mission, and he sent me a thank you text. Felt pretty good lol

I was minding my own business yesterday until i recognized some random was under attack by an mk2 during his nighclub sale.

 

Shot the mk2 down and the random guy sent me some greetings via the flashlights of his speedo. I sent him some via chuffs

 

I was minding my own business again and fought later some tryhards. I couldnt drop BST anymore as it glitched into a building and were in real trouble as both of them used it.

 

Random guy from the sale joins in in his akula, nuked the sh*t out of them and teamed up with me until they left.

Tonight with my lower level account I came across a couple of determined griefers who were going out of their way to spawn-trap their victims.  Thankfully I was close enough to one of their targets respawning to go and pick them up while I sat in passive mode.  The griefers were massively determined to get their "target" - coming after them with just about every type of weaponised vehicle going (apart from the oppressors) - including tanks and jets.

I took my passenger for a spin in Fort Zancudo, knowing they'd be safe in the vehicle with me as I have a hanger there - and they lost about 3 jets and 2 tanks  to the military responding to their shooting - then followed me all the way  in jets to my CEO office at Maze Bank West.  (They crashed right at the end then ran off to the beach to pick up a fresh jet rather than hanging around) - but not being able to get a non-passive target because that target had gone into a vehicle of someone in passive mode REALLY cheesed them off.

Good deed done, rescued someone from being spawn-trapped by griefers and made sure the person was safe all the way into the city.

(When they eventually backed off, I just jumped into an organisation, popped into ghost org and went to my kosatka to do a Cayo Perico heist, but not without the parting taunt of a mugger, Merryweather, a 1k bounty and a teasing message ridiculing them for being so poor at the game that they need to rely on spawn-trapping people as a team just to manage any kills

Does anyone know if a mugger and Merryweather will still target a player once you leave a lobby? I've always assumed not.

I'm not sure - but at the very least the notification about Merryweather going after them would have had them paranoid - but the bounties last anyway.

I'm guessing if the mugger or Merryweather are actively stalking the target they'll remain active after the player who sent them has left the session.

Last night, random player sent this message:

"Yo momma got a big ass."

 

I replied:

"Why, thank you."

 

...and continued on my merry, leaving him/her unmolested.

Not sure this is really a good deed per se, but ever since a few days ago, when I get into free roam, all I do is 1) don my replica "Jason" outfit (jumpsuit, hockey mask, shaved head, and machete), 2) activate ghost org, and 3) run around hacking anyone I can find on foot with said machete. I've been killed nearly as often as I've killed them (dumb machete takes 2-3 swipes to kill and doesn't even knock people down!). I hope at least some of them get a good laugh out of it. Once Halloween is over I'll be back to regular clothes and doing productive things, but for now this is great fun.

My bud went from lvl 1 to lvl 70 thanks to my cayo perico grinding with him, i basically teached him the game.

 

This christmas when we are home from school we are gonna go to like 30 million dollars each

My good deed for the day earlier...

I saw a couple of guys crash their titan into the Alamo Sea as I (and a guy I know) flew overhead in my pyro, so I went and switched to the Sea Sparrow and gave them a lift to shore.

Only chance i had to solve it before the sale got destroyed was the one-shot-bug so i begged for it while scoping....

Joined a cayo heist and the other guy gives me 85%.

 

Panther statue as well so came away with 2.5M!

Every time I get an invite from a low level to that final Casino mission to kill Dugan Sr. I bring my fully upgraded Half-Track. 

So relaxing to just drive around at a safe distance while they have fun in the back, using the turret to shred everything into pieces.

This used to be me with the Hunter, join a finale, cutscene skipped, easy mode, ah right this dude just wants the car, spawn hunter, hey my dude here's a brrt for you to use.

 

But rockstar micromanagement of fun means f*ck you

 

Toreador works, halftrack works, but neither are as satisfying

I helped players with their cargo,  shooting of barcode players on mkll and jets.  Putther joined the defenses later.  The cargo was delivered several times yeeeeee.

Yes I do that on godmode players, I get refunded everytime because I don't get the kill but they have to walk. No vehicles they can use like this.

I've done that on the 2 or 3 God mode players I've seen around - they usually give up and leave the session once they realise that they're not going to be left in peace to abuse God mode.

Hell ya, i took out dozens of this noobs out of godmode earlier this year as the casino godmode was at his peak

Forcing god-mode griefers to leave a session through copious use of orbital cannons is a good deed in that it prevents them from griefing an entire session and doesn't cost you a penny if you just keep blasting them over and over (as long as nobody else is close enough to be caught in the explosion) - aside from any insurance payouts.  Once you get them out their vehicle though, you can just spam it as there is no cool-down and no cost as long as nobody dies to the orbital cannon
