Logged in for the first time in weeks seen longest wheelie was about to start so got the oppressor out, 15000ish miles later i win and gave winnings to a level 3 player

An example of how I use avenger hunting bad players.

When playing as 1 person only with avenger the lobby kick function is kind of annoying (if its 1v2 or more).

When I'm not busy with my own stuff or working for someone, I spending my time flying around and see if I can help somebody, like escorting sales or supply runs, getting people off bad spawn places, keep away griefers etc. Quite often I see new people struggling with Casino heist preps, so I airlift them to safety and help deliver stuff to their Arcade.

In amongst all the doom and gloom, here's my good deed story of the day. On my way back from the USS Lexington with my Business Battle crate, I spot a flare and then notice this (rank 7) kid stood at the cliffs with his Oppressor, obviously unable to reach his pal who is already on the vessel. 

 

I figure, what the heck, there are enough crates for everybody, and his crew member didn't attempt to take pot shots at me. I'll give him a lift out there.

 

 

So I pick him up, turn around and set off back out to the aircraft carrier, passing his friend who was already heading inland with a crate.

 

I dropped him off and left him to take his chances, figuring he can try and get one of the Lazers to get back.

 

But there is a twist in the tale. Because unbeknownst to me, as I reached the nightclub with my own crate, I didn't spot this guy bearing down on me on his Oppressor, who made mincemeat out of me and stole my crate (fair play)

 

The leader of the crew whose buddy I gave a ride to saw this, and decided to step in. I see on the feed that he has taken down the thief, and is guarding the crate for me.

 

 

 

All's well that ends well. Crates equally shared. and the hapless thief left empty handed.

I generally try to single out low level people that appear to be true newbies and invite them to CEO/Contact missions to get them some start up cash and pass along some useful information/strategies about the game

I once had so much cash that made Heist just for fun with low level randoms, If they were good enough I'd give 30% each, just 10% for me (for the hosting cost, you know). With the casino Heist, I once helped a level 25 and gave him 85% of the cut. I carried all the heist and told him to pay attention so he could replicate it with his pals.

Even though technically a vested interest, I've been helping my 2 nephews raise cash for their characters and giving them a bit of advice on how to use their cash - although the older one is likely ignore my advice and blow any cash he gets on cars rather than investing in businesses to make more money.

Got an invite for a tennis game for a daily from some guy. We started chatting (he was rank 99) and told me how he just spent his money for a bunker and upgrading some MK weapons. Left him win the game and then gave him 75% Bogdan to step on his feet, before I go with my day here. I feel fulfilled now.

Finished my Bunk sale in a half full lobby and decided to try my newly bought Ramp Buggy (was on my radar for some time, so the discount came really handy). Was messing with it around Chumash and bumped some dude in the sky. He really enjoyed it and we did this for the next 10 minutes, then I let him drive for a while (which I never do with randoms), as it seemed he really enjoying this, then I had to get back to work.

 

In my book this is a good deed, so, here you go.

I've done that with a couple of guys before - usually accidentally as I scream down the motorway / interstate the wrong direction revelling in the chaos behind me - usually I don't even notice the players until they're 40 feet in the air doing a barrel roll.  It is fun to do, and some players will race back to do it again.  Usually when that happens, I direct them towards one of the airstrips (LSIA or Sandy Shores, whichever is closest) so we can continue on until one of us gets bored or a griefer comes over to nuke us both.  (The reason for the airfield?  Leaves the road clear for grinders.)

todays deeds;

 

1. noticed guy had same elysian island nightclub so i spawn jet, fly to aircraft carrier and bring back every crate and kill myself in front club eliminating his need to travel

 

he was using a boat lol

 

2. noticed someone selling so i guarded the product in an akula till they were finished. they never knew i was there lol

 

3. used avenger to run over opressors griefin low rank player tryin to buy masks

 

4. used atomizer to free player in a vehicle stuck on a tree platform by the mall

 

5. delivered 2 blue dot vehicles and invited low levels (3 of em) to join gang so they all got paid by my delivery (10k)

 

6. hacked aircraft carrier for noob team who kept getting shot and then left lobby (i also killed 75% AI)

 

7. sniped a couple of jet griefers (3 or 4 in diff lobbys)

 

thas all i remember but more good deeds comin wen i get bak on

I spent gta$750,000 to blow a B-11 strike force griefer out of the sky, for some reason he didn't feel like hanging around, as he left straight away.

The few joking posts aside, i've been trying to hold back this reply for a few months but every time i see the thread again i want to post it, so f- it, i will take another "not so nice person" point lol.

this isnt a pat your self on the back thread. its a thread to combat the majority toxicness that is the game

Made 65k on my Humane Labs Raid this morning (which, considered the start up cost, is 11k profit)... was joined by those respectively 20, 40 and 6 rank guys, carried them through the last 3 set ups* and the finale and gave them 30% each. Good thing that I'm rich.

 

*I couldn't believe we did Deliver EMP in one go (well, I did, but who cares).

I spotted a couple of guys chasing after someone doing a bunker sale last night (I was on the other side of the map heading the other way on a Haulage run) - but I sent some mercenaries and a mugger after the guys chasing the grinder - it distracted them long enough to let the grinder get a sneaky ambush on the one using a Mk2 Oppressor as he went through a tunnel.

Had the same thing happen a while back after the casino update.  He was under level 100.  He didn't want to be invited to organization anything, just said he was happy to help keep me safe.
