GTA 6 Speculation & Discussion [Part 3]

Anyone that thinks Covid-19 is anywhere near over, is delusional. They won't be announcing GTA until this is all over. Early next year I'd say. Maybe November at the earliest. Time to move on for now, play some games you never got round to.

It's not over obviously but it can't affect one company to postpone a reveal.

Yep, unfortunately. The first wave is the virus, we're going through all that now. Then there will be the economic sh*tshow that follows. 

 

If those rumors about PS5 being so cheap are true then they're probably taking into account what things will look like by the end of the year.

I think I know how this whole "The Preacher" thing came to existence.

 

So maybe The Preacher (@gonnaenodaethat) and a Rockstar PR manager (let's just call him Bob) are friends since childhood.

 

One night, they went to a pub together, in Edinburgh. They both got a little dizzy, Bob would not shut up about this upcoming RDR2 trailer, and the next morning, The Preacher decided to leave on the forums whatever he remembered about it (which came up to be The Preacher's RDR2 leak).

 

Anyways, weeks passed, Bob found out, and instead of being mad on The Preacher (cause bros before hoes, duh), they met in the same pub.

Bob said: - You're now a trusted leaker, and I work for Bobstar Games™. How about we turn this whole thing into a publicity stunt?

The Preacher was like: *sips Irn-Bru* - I'm listening.

Bob: - Bobstar gets their free publicity, and the fans get what they want, information! Everyone gets their piece of the cake!

And The Preacher probably answered with some overly complicated riddle that even Bob, his long time friend, could not understand.

 

And so here we are, collecting any piece of information, because hope is our only chance of survival in such dark times!

OK back to the topic, I still don't see how R* can switch from online to 6 seamlessly or, as they said, how can they update online (as standalone) to match/use the layout for 6.

If Rockstar does make multiple protagonists in GTA6 then I'd like to see the characters having unique playstyles (stealth, guns blazing), not just bullcrap character abilities slapped on top, different ways to interact with people. That'd make the game feel much more varied without dissonance with their character traites in script.

Courthouse, appeal, lawyers, prison. IDK really. Maybe you could have a lawyer to help you, maybe you can end up in jail, maybe there's a realer side to "Busted".
