Well, if the two games were nice, GTA SA was the sh*t! The map was HUGE, there was a lot to do, and the story was (in my opinion) the best of all games!

 

Now what if R* are doing the same thing with the HD era?

GTA IV shows the new engine, the new mechanincs, the new possibilities in future games.

GTA V has a bigger map, some new additions to character customisation etc.

What if GTA VI will once again show what R* are actually capable of? I mean yeah, all of their games end up winning awards and stuff, but GTA SA was a whole new experience!

Look at all those games on previous generation consoles compared to current generation, we need GTA VI soon.

Again, this was before the game was announced if memory serves. The part about Rockstar head honchos not being impressed with the game was also true.

Here's the repost. All I know is that it was originally posted "A while ago" as of September 2017. I'd really love to know when it was originally posted though. I love the RDR series, but not as much as GTA, so I didn't follow that closely back then. Besides, I knew 2017 would be pretty barren.

I'd rather have extreme physics that are fun than realistic physics that are boring. Also are you forgetting that V didn't have the ability to get muscular/fat like SA did?

If we could get GTA VI,Bully II and a Midnight Club for this upcoming gen I'd be satisfied. Red Dead title to start off the gen after.

You're in for dissapointment sir,

This is how rockstar works, each game is a technical achievement but each new game reuses old tech. 
 

GTA VI, will most likely use the character tech and npcs from red dead, its new defining feature being a Living modern open world with grand scale. 
 

It'll be Gta san andreas but with better graphics and advanced technology not possible on the 360 generation. Proven possible by Red Dead Redemption 2. 
 

GTA V was the culmination of all the tech they developed during the 360 gen, face tech from LA Noire, Animation technologies and similar gun play to Max Payne 3 and ofcourse GTA Online which is an evolution of what San Diego did with red dead redemption 1. (The crew system was first implemented in max payne 3 too). 
 

Its all recycling, but it works because it has Rockstars signature direction and quality stamp. 
 

what is a "Brand new game" anyway. If its a rockstar open world game made on RAGE its going to reuse the systems they developed for RAGE games. Its going to feel and look alot like RAGE games. Its going to be red dead redemption 2 evolved with gameplay changes at its core to make it feel snappier and more modern as opposed to a survival cowboy sim.
