I originally vowed to buy a Megalodon Shark Card if GTA VI got teased/announced on a certain date, but I am even more sure that it won't be teased/announced tomorrow that I will buy not one, not two, but three Megalodon Shark Cards if GTA VI gets teased/announced.

Because there's no need to be negative. It seems clear to me that the preacher doesn't know sh*t but this whole thing seems fun and I'm curious to see what they will come up with, I just hope it won't be the usual endless stream of nonsensical riddles or it will again become boring very fast.

The only information that we really have was that it was supposed to be in the game in some fashion, until it was ultimately decided it wouldn't. Not a big deal, I'm sure there's hundreds of projects like this that Rockstar cancels-- this just happens to be one that we've seen. 

 

AFAIK, Rockstar refers to GTA 5 as the single player and GTAO as the multiplayer when naming files, so my best guess is that this was supposed to just be a fun little single player free roam addition that would've found its way into Online, but R* probably realized that it was too ambitious. 

 

Adding LC to online would force them to make Liberty City-specific missions, split the player base in each match into two cities, have Liberty City-specific police models, police-chatter, radio stations; etc. It'd be more like making an entirely new game and they'd be forced to redesign Liberty City in the dated GTA V engine. It was just one of those ideas that is better on paper.

something to do with that new Preacher forum i'm sure. Maybe the admins will go through people's post history in regards to the preacher and decide who gets to post there or not based on their belief in the preacher? That'd be really time consuming but then again we're all in quarantine lol.

Announcement on a Sunday ? If it's the case, it'll surely be a "simple" image drop on Twitter and Instagram that will hype everyone up just like RDR2 back in 2016
