You have right to believe this or not but I think this is not all trolling like others. Hype was started with that superbowl vice city styled ad and in the beginning of March , gonnaenodaethat skyrocketed it. Now , allow me to tell you everything since these cryptic messages started. 

 

1) Gtavi.com domain doesn't redirect to V's page anymore and it is updated TWICE in a month when expiration date was already 2021 or sth. 

2) The title "GTA VI" is removed from Jorge Consejo's CV like a week ago while it has been there for 2 years. 

3) Snickers made a Vice City styled ad on Reddit. It has been proven real by the reddit user 'TRMTankEngine'. Also Snickers Twitter page linked to this:

Snickers has no relation with R*. There is absolutely no reason why they would know that GTA VI is development and what city it's set in. R* never use real brands in their games and I'm sure they don't do any partnerships either

GTAVI main protagonist will be a woman played by a mexican man

Well I'm not so sure, but it's a very interesting point. 

 

It appeared that some sort of commercial shenanigans were going on with this year's Super Bowl. And now the Snickers thing. Brands don't impinge on each others' territory without agreement and collaboration. R* has a long-standing tradition of working with music labels. Could we be seeing the start of a new strategy where they work much more closely with other brand sectors?

 

I mean, it's pretty much a win-win situation for both sides if done right. And I for one would buy an Irn-Bru blimp for $4500000.
