Preacher knows somethings but he can't just give the info directly.Then the next day rockstar would knock at his door.Using riddles to give info is the best way of leaking and staying away from lawsuits.

It bears a slight resemblance but it’s certainly not the same robot. The Instagram photo shows the robot having iron man-like eyes, and the rockstar robot doesn’t have any eyes. Also, the circular things on the thigh joints are missing. Also, the second image in the post shows the robot is silver, while the rockstar one is gold. I don’t think it’s connected

Rockstar have that robot art for ages now. The weekend has nothing to with gta 6 because he is posting pics of a robot. His music is based from the 80's or 90's that's why he is taking pics of himself with robots

I feel like they'll have mostly retired GTA V's Online (as in no more major content updates) by the time VI rolls around, so they might just keep it as GTA Online. The playerbase will probably end up giving it some nickname to avoid ambiguity for a while, like with the PS4/XB1 versions being called 'next gen' when they came out.

It is an interesting topic. I would have thought that they would let players overhaul their cash or somehow merge the new map into the old Online but someone told me that they will probably have players start over again so they will spend more money on microtransactions.

You're right, there's no way they'll let players take everything from V to VI. A lot of people (totally not me) have illegitimate money as well, it would be very detrimental for them to let us transfer all of that over, whether its a one-time deal or not. They got rid of player transfers from PS3/X360 to PS4/XB1/PC for this reason IIRC.

 

A lot of content from V is prob not going to make it over to VI either I'd reckon (much like how a lot of cars from IV arent present in V), so I dont think anyone should expect to be able to carry possessions over.

 

That being said, I cant imagine a lot of current players being happy about a move like that. R* will definitely have to balance the transfer carefully to not "piss off" their playerbase.

 

IMO they'll give players a loyalty/returning player bonus of prob 2-3 million max and some other "exclusive" stuff and call it a day, but who knows.

My guess would be that they'll stop content updates  1 year into VI.

 

Assuming VI is a next gen title, there will defo be people still playing V's Online for a while on PS4/XB1 until they make the transfer over, so they'll prob try to squeeze what they can from them. VI should be out on PC as well by then (hopefully ), so that'll cover all platforms.

 

Im sure they can maintain both V and VI if theyre viable enough, but I would expect major updates for V's Online to stop by the time VI launches.

Only at a 1.6 lower than NYC which has the strictest gun laws in the USA and is a police state. Yea you're right Rockstar doesn't have to be realistic but how much do they not have to be realistic?

My mistake. Rockstar not Rockstar North is here in NYC. And yea only seen it once on Broadway in downtown Manhattan. Its actually near the 6 train.

Yes I confused Rockstar North with Rockstar. 

But my argument for London being in a GTA game isn't based off factual guns deaths. The murders that occur within the game that the player commits corresponds with the amount a whole city usually has in a year. So GTA is already in the realms of extreme fiction. 

The main reoccurring character in GTA is the city it's set in. The City has to be interesting and diverse. So my argument is London is a more interesting City than any other American city outside of the main R* 3 choices (Los Angeles, Miami, NYC). 
Chicago and Detroit have nothing on London to be a free roam playground for a GTA game. London is around 8x bigger than both and offers diversity in landscape and architecture. That presents the opportunity for more interesting and varied missions.

If you want a GTA game that involves international crime syndicates , corrupt politicians and a host of celebrities parodied. Then London makes more sense than Chicago, Detroit, Seattle, Houston , Philadelphia etc...

I want to expirience something like this after getting 3 Stars in GTA 6 and not this Terminator sh*t like in V which you have to optimize first with Modifications on PC.

I'd say outside of NYC, LA, Miami, SF and LV no other US city could hold a GTA apart from Chicago. Outside of the US then I agree - London is the next best English speaking choice.

R* NYC is where they handle the writing its where the Housers write the stories, it's where they bring the actors in to do the mocap, they make all their important decisions there. 

 

They don't do actual developing there though. They could but probably not a lot.

The higher ups maybe if its important I'm guessing but they could do zoom calls and share files online.

We're kinda seeing that now with Ubisoft and The Division 1 and 2. They've stopped updating the Division 1 but the servers are still up and some people play it.
