Good ideas. On a related note, the crusher from III and before should return. Stealing cars and scrapping them for money.

I just want the Import/Export side missions back, from previous games. Take a note from Gone in 60 Seconds, and have rare/unique vehicles be collectables. Each one is parked in a specific location, and you have to steal/acquire it and return it to the docks, or garage. There would be many different ways to steal the cars. The good old fashioned way, leading to a pursuit, or maybe use a stealthy approach. Maybe use some fancy tech to avoid setting off any alarms. IDK, but there's a lot that can be done with a shopping list of cars.

Be a handy way of getting rid of bodys as well, if thats needed in the game if we have to put them in the trunk.Actually i think there was a mission like that in III that you had to get rid of a car through the crusher with a body in it.Dam i feel old that i can remember that haha

Absolutely! There are certain things that should be staples in each GTA and Import/Export is one of them. I would still like the crusher in addition - the more side missions the better and especially ones tied into the whole Grand Theft Auto aspect - y'know? I imagine we could have a mission of desposing of "hot" vehicles for criminals - the crusher could be one way.

 

@Nail66 I remember it too! There was. Basic missions like that need to come back. Putting bodies inside a boot/trunk has been something we've wanted for so long. RDR comes close with hogtying and putting a body on a horse, but we've yet to see it in GTA. Come on Rockstar - surely you can do it now?!

GTA V wasn't revolutionary to the series when you compare it to the past titles. 

 

It had the best graphics in the series and 3 protagonists (the whole concept was meh), but other than that it was a downgrade in many areas compared to the past games. 

 

I dare to say GTA 4 was a better and more polished and detailed title. But it had worse map and because of that was more boring. 

 

I hope GTA 6 will really define new standards in GTA games

Yeah, totally agree. I don't know why, but the crusher in GTA III was so satisfying. Even if it didn't really have a purpose outside of missions. it was just cool that you could use it. I know Rockstar are about quality over quantity. But still, you do need quantity also. Imagine if GTA had a difficulty mode, or a hardcore mode where one of the changes was leaving evidence, therefore you needed to destroy evidence of crimes. like your car or weapons or outfits, etc. Maybe that's too much. But I like things in the world having purpose.

@grope_4_that_date had a fantastic topic before V (sorry to reference this again Grope) arguing that cars should have heat attached to them and IIRC could attract wanted levels if they were used that. Having to get rid of evidence would add another level to committing crimes and another level of roleplaying.

One thing we can all agree is that the mainpoint of GTA 6 should be IMMERSION.

 

Whether it´s selling and purchasing cars or stealing them.

 

They can obviously not implement all the possible features of such kind and at the same time making them as immersive as possible.

 

Otherwise we have to wait 10 years more.

 

Quality over Quantity.

That was in Mafia II if I remember correctly. Even random parked cars in that game had heat lol.

I vaguely remember, but there was a LOT of stuff like that, back then.

GTA 5 is the most featureful of all GTA games, and has the biggest map

Very little to do in single player after the main story, personally san andreas was the peak for things to do after the game.Why they got rid of the taxi and vigilante mission ill never know

Yeah that’s what online is for. Who cares about single player once you’ve finished it

Personally i do due to when online is launched it will take at time for content to fully come through and if there is anything like the launch of V online it will take weeks to get a game. Rockstars single player is there bread and butter, few developers can do a story like them, plus i hate been trolled by the Mk 2 worst thing ever added into one personally and have activitys offline is a must within the games

It has been proved he was not. Just because he got something right for RDR PC, many still believe him.

 

That’s were you need to pay attention. It’s not because he got something right that he will be always right.

 

It was proved that what happened last month was nothing more than bunch of fakes and jokes.

 

Anyway that your choice but there is nothing to expect from him. Yan22 (and many others big name of GTA community) doubted about him on twitter and Jason Schreier even say that nothing will happen for some times about GTA VI.

 

But again that’s your choice but please, don’t share things from Preacher here anymore. That was funny the first two weeks but it’s no more interesting now.

And i say it again, nothing will happen anytime soon.

 

The Preacher got his chances and he wasted them by joking with the forum to get some attention. Nothing to expect from him anymore. He got his paycheck by being banned and the story end at this moment.

 

Again that your choice to believe in him but we have to keep this thread relevant and he is no more part of these things that are relevant.

I did. But once I’ve finished the story in GTA 5, I’m glad there’s an online. It’s more fun than single player once you’ve finished the story

Actually my friend "Stevens" is a common Haitian surname. Haiti actually has influence from Anglo-Caribbean. Samuel is also a common name among Haitians. But... We'll have to see. As a Haitian this has my curiosity.

I stand corrected! I'm surprised. I thought it was entirely French influenced? 

 

Looking at the most common Haitian surnames I can see some are Anglo based: https://forebears.io/haiti/surnames

 

I just imagined Rockstar would have use name that sounded a little more Haitian - y'know?

Now that was a nice throwback there were some really good threads back then detailing ideas like these. Regarding the ideas about a more fleshed out wanted system, a lot of those did eventually make it to V as mods atleast.
