I wonder when will we get a new universe. I think GTA VI will still be HD universe and then probably GTA VII will be a new one. What  would they even call it?

For me looks like most legit leak we ever get. Even if 50% of that is true. I'll be happy. 

According to some leaks in the past, GTA is almost finished game. So this leak is 6 months old. This will make sense guys.

It's fake, no employee has this much information on the game they're working on unless they're lead or upper management and those guys know better than to leak.

I hope most of it’s real. Although, I think they should retire the three-character mechanic. It served its purpose well in GTA V, but I would prefer GTA VI to revolve around a single character. Also, I do hope it takes place in the 80’s. I mean, it is Miami after all. Nothing says Miami like the 80’s coke trade.

It's been 6 months on reddit. Who knows how old it really is. They could scrapped few things. But for me it's one of the best leaks

Did Rockstar officially refer to it as the "HD Universe" or was it something the fans started calling it?

I can’t remember specifically if it was ever mentioned but they did say this universe was separate from III universe; I do believe IV onwards should be the same universe (until technology proves otherwise) to develop a thicker, deeper world - this can significantly help shape the story and have a lot more depth to the world that is GTA. Albeit killing off previous protagonists to make room for the next protagonist if needed.
