I hope in GTA VI there will be more variants of emergency vehicles, especially police. There was only one model used for SP mainly, and the interceptor in Multiplayer. Just would be nice to see more models used.

People like to hate on Saints Row a lot but in Saints Row 1 and 2 there are still features to this day that are far ahead of R*. Hell you can even do it in Watch Dogs.

I think there wouldn’t be any harm in a game announcement. We got a gdc talk from Sony regarding the ps5 and details on the series x during pandemic. Not to mention MW2 release. So I wouldn’t put be too worried about an announcement getting postponed right now cause of the virus.

Did you remember the gta v cover drawn on a building? it would not be possible to do such things now, in 2021 we will have info on gta 6 with an increasing marketing campaign, thousands of people are dying every day from the virus, there will be no announcement.

But a lot of editor announce new game. Like MW2 remastered for example.

You are talking about the most famous franchise in the world, others will be able to announce the remastered of a game released 11 years ago, it doesn't change that rockstar won't announce such an important game during this period.

MW2 isn't an announcement, it's an announcement and release, the game was done, needed virtually no marketing and was a digital only release. PS5/XSX info coming out is also different as both consoles are wanting to release later this year and hardware isn't expected to get hit as hard as software will during the COVID-19 crisis.

That is stupid, this is the best time to announce GTA VI. Especially when people are staying inside of their houses and can’t take the strain of their mental health but would want to see good news. If that logic of marketing is dead right now then we wouldn’t see Bethesda, Nintendo or Valve and even Capcom promoting their works at this time of A pandemic

yes is stupid, announcing such an important game during a global pandemic, with the stock market going up and down and the biggest investors who have probably already lost a lot of money
You are still comparing others to rock stars ... you don't understand, gta is a franchise worth billions, the rules that apply to others are not the same for gta.
There will be no announcement during the pandemic.
I authorize moderators to cancel my 2013 account if gta 6 is announced during a global pandemic.

The game is still at least 2 years away. The marketing will really ramp up in the last year or so. With gta v and RDR2 after the initial announcement there was silence for like a year. So an announcement right now wouldn’t be a problem.

Pretty much. They've stepped up their community efforts massively since the crisis began. They've been hanging out on streams with community streamers a whole bunch and been promoting content creators on their feeds for a week or two now. Think they're just trying to do their bit.

We just need one word of confirmation from Rockstar, be it a logo or a trailer, anything to quench our thirst. As far as things like Box Art, screenshots, trailers go, they are revealed gradually as we get close to the launch. So no need to worry about the pandemic.

When it comes to that Grand Theft Auto V cover drawn on a building... it was interesting, because they even recorded a time lapse for Grand Theft Auto IV, but with Grand Theft Auto V all we had were some pictures posted "live" on GTAForums.
