Users can appeal, since we opened the court house there was been a few users using the 'under review' group. People just choose to focus on him.

Where can I find this group?

Thanks for the clarification. So really the only way for him to come back would be if we somehow actually got something from R* in the next couple days?

That sound amazing. As you slowly upgrade your criminal empire your character develops more enemies. Now those extravagant funds must be spent between crime, weapons, vehicles, and security.

That does sound good.

Have you ever played the Shadow Of games? The Nemesis System used in them would be perfect for a series of secondary antagonists in GTA.

The worry I have with Rockstar making it so you slowly build your empire/wealth is that Rockstar are f*cking dreadful at making a good economy in their game. It's always poor, poor, poor, billionaire, gg.

Even RDR2's economy is broken completely within hours if you choose to do side activities.

There is an issue about this. There is a huge amount of people who likes the way V was made, and there is another huge amount of people who prefer IV style (myself included).

The thing is how R* want to approach it. And until a new trailer, hardly we are going to know anything.

Even more if we take into consideration the internal issues between Benzies and Housers brothers, and the exit from the company of 2 of them.

I'm not sure how bad the issues between Benzies and Housers really is, RDR2 turned out well. But I get the point with nothing really substantial to speculate. Although we can assume what would make sense to be in the next game, making it more than just a wishlist. If we can't do that, it's problably best to not post at all.

On topic though, each rockstar game seems to have a little more story choices. Hopefuly they continue that trend, maybe this time the story can change depending on how we run our business in free roam.

Honestly I would prefer it if like I've suggested before your monetary income directly relates to just how competent you are at exploiting the game's systems and world rather than just going through the storyline amassing identical wealth to every other player.

Looks like Sony’s ramping up for a full PS5 unveiling with the new DF article, the console tear down coming soon, and GodFall is getting previews this week.

let’s hope other developers start blowing their lid. EA is also teasing a ME Remaster

Is there a reason that the staff changed his usertitle after he got "busted" ?

Yes, to create the hype again

Right now he's in the "courtroom"

They will probably unban him tomorrow (resurrection) and he will make his 1000th post

Most millionaires have a lot of their cash stored in assets or ventures and not necessarily all of it to hand at any given time, it would be more interesting for your wealth to represented as a malleable thing that can change over time depending on what you own, whom your rivals are and so on.

I would also have liked it if working for Roman as you could actually do would aid the cab business over time and you could sort of micromanage that.

Assuming The Preacher has inside knowledge, you've gotta wonder how does he know this stuff? He's clearly very elaborate, and it's likely he does know stuff, and is vague on purpose which is why things don't happen when we think they're going to happen, because we misinterpreted his "extemely vague" riddles as he once said. We find connections in his riddles to reach conclusions we want. We wanted GTA 6 to be announced in March, so we looked at his riddles in ways to convince us that's what he was hinting at. Is it possible he works at Rockstar? If not, would he be able to have this knowledge otherwise? Even the actors who have worked on past GTA games don't have all this inside knowledge.

I’d like to express my thought on this situation. Even though we’ve waiting more than 2 weeks for nothing, I still have the feeling that the preacher knows something. But generally speaking, don’t you think that maybe Rockstar, reading through this forum or even being a member of it, has decided to push back the date of announcement? I mean, this forum is public, so everyone can read our speculations and everyone can join the community...

what you mean? I thought Niko got rid of his debts by killing the people that pressed Roman and doing jobs for them. Or I'm forgetting something.

Anyways I think we should contribute in the wishlist thread.

RDR2 suffers from it too. "We need money!" he says, as I'm sitting there with thousands of dollars and pockets full of gold bars.

Yea that'd be interesting, a meta game with businesses and stuff. Could say, sticking with the VC theme, run a drug/cocaine business which has expenses, gotta spend money to earn money and keep all your various ventures running smoothly to keep your income flowing.

Money is a huge aspect of Rockstar's open world games but how they utilise it has never really been interesting, you just get it dumped on you in amounts that far exceed what you can actually spend on stuff and that's it. Maybe in VI they could disconnect earning money from the story and tie it into side content, businesses/drug game etc.

I mean I've always seen the laundering of dirty cash into clean usable income as one of the vital elements of crime that Rockstar doesn't allow you to explore, buying legitimate businesses and allowing you to use them as funnels for you elicit criminal revenues would be cool, I'd also enjoy if in the same way you wouldn't be gifted something of insane value but still a tool or item that allows the player to further explore/interact with the world around them.

GTA V did this once with the player having to obtain or requisition items and set ups for heists that you would later have access to after the heists regardless of your success - the submarine for example. More of these rewards throughout the game would provide the player with a reward that they could potentially lose, misplace or destroy but also one that allows the player unique opportunities if they can acquire it unlike simply providing them with a fixed cash sum.

or maybe they can have us deeply in debt  from the very beginning, which would bring all kinds of loan sharks and hired guns coming after us to collect the money, and the only way to get rid of them would be to actually pay off the debt

This thread gets replies at least every minute, imagine how man [part]s we have until the trailer drops and the trailer comes like in the summer 2021 at the earliest... Says something about the hype around the game.

They need to rework the whole system by scratch and stop making the campaign missions pay you $1,000,000 per mission. I’m supposed to be a criminal not a Rockefeller

Guys quick question.

Do you remember that wall with RDR2 logo as a advertising??? As I remember this wall has been covered and there was a work in progress behind a curtains.

Do we have any news on this ?? This give us some clue about new Rockstar game.

Niko is constantly complaining to Roman about him spending all of their money. Yet Niko never loses any money. Similar to the point Jason made.

However, I personally never had that issue, during my playthrough. I felt it was done much better than GTA IV. But still, yeah. I don't think any game like this will ever have a perfect economy. It is a video game, after all. Even the games that do feel like they have a decent economy can be broken if you put in the time, or build a certain character the right way, follow a guide, etc...

Rockstar really really really needs to read these last posts.

We need a real crime business model.

Looking back and RDR 2 story, i was wondering, could we possibly see the story revolving around the undercover narcotic cop in the 80s Vice City, but you're given the option to be a low honor (become a criminal, go deep undercover without going back) or high honor (good cop, kill or arrest all bad guys at the end) through the story.

BigBootyAssHoe

There's one reason that I don't believe GTA 6 will be set in the 80s. They would lose out on so much already made content (cars, planes, clothes,...) And it would be a bit restricted like rdr2 with content, not nearly as bad but still more than in a modern day setting. And they couldn't milk the online as much because there won't be any jetpack or oppressor to sell for 4 000 000 $, if they go with a modern setting they have so much content they can use to milk gta online in the future. Just my take on it what do you think ?
