xy-maps
I've heard a lot of bad things about the release of the PC version of RDR2 and hoped that most of it has been fixed. Now I have also bought the game but unfortunately it does not work at all. You don't need to expect anything from the official support, but maybe someone has a tip? I always have the same problem: No matter if I select Singleplayer or Multiplayer in the menu crash the game after a few seconds in the loading screen. Funnily enough I get into the start menu where the game world is already loaded... Which I've already tried: installed the latest graphics driver. "Save mode" after crash. Game saves deleted. V-Sync disabled. All graphic settings set to minimum. Does anyone have any last tips before I try to get the game refunded? System specs: Windows 10 Pro (lastest update) SSD Intel Xeon 8x3,2Hz Nvidia GTX Titan 6Gb (latest driver) 32GB Ram
The007connoisseur
Contact Rockstar support first then think of refunding. I'm running it on much lower hardware with no problem. Though my CPU is about the same.
xy-maps
Here is answer from the R* Support: The hardware does not meet the minimum requirements. ^^ Refund is not possible because the game has already been activated...
Dock
Stupid suggestion, but are you sure your game files arent corrupted? When I first downloaded the game through steam some map file was corrupted and basically made my game crash when going near that location. Revalidated the game and it downloaded a 1.8 GB chunk and that fixed the issue.

StyxTx
Isn't the MINIMUM requirement for CPU 3.4 GHz?
j850
Some things to try, verify game files, change graphics api to or from vulkan to dx12 (try the opposite one you are using now). Are you having problems on any other games? Are you overclocking your cpu or ram? Disable or stop any unnecessary programs running in background that may cause the crash, msi afterburner, any overclocking software, screen recording software.
