Rev. Gnash
No doubt. He's crazier, than a sh*thouse rat. Rockstar, should of given him, a backstory or some clue to his identity. Kremita, kcole4001 and DentureDynamite
kcole4001
I've been feeding him all along hoping there's a reason behind this. He always says he's been dead before, but I haven't done it bro! No idea why he ran off last time (Monday) just as I entered camp. i donated my animals and went to look for him but he was gone. Actually, I saw a video a longtime ago before online came out where this person claimed The Devil man in the caves was Gavin. They wrestled(shoving and strangling) him all of the way to strawberry and put him in bed at the hotel. Rev. Gnash
@4eyedcoupe That's some creative, storytelling. Too slick, for Rockstar... so I am going to call bullsh*t, on their Gavin=Devil Man theory. But I would be lying, if I said, I didn't want a link to that video. Sidenote: mojo (my American Foxhound) never barks at that guy. Edited September 30, 2020 by Rev. Gnash StyxTx, kcole4001 and 4eyedcoupe
Leftover Pizza
If I can't kill an NPC with a headshot, I wait for him to get up again and go for the ball sack shot kill. I do hideouts and blockades from a distance with a sniper rifle, to lure those NPC's out to the frontline as much as possible, so I don't have to go all over the place to loot them. kcole4001
I've come to the conclusion I like to play like the man with no name from Clint Eastwood's movies, riding into town, helping out locals from time to time, riding out of town on my way somewhere else. The wide open spaces attracted the loners who would rather stare into the distance at the sunset rather than push through a crowded street. I'm at home near my camp, with the animals, my dog, and the sound of the wind. ALifeOfMisery, bevlian89, OREOBOREALIS and 8 others

Its a shame that all these outposts, cabins etc dont give you the option to sit down or rest on beds and stuff. For all its faults FO76 did this right, you can "sleep" on any bed and it recharges your health in real time meaning you don't need to waste medical packs when you find a safe spot. I feel this could work in RDO, you can already recharge health and Cores when resting at camp so the same could be applied to resting on beds but at slower rate. My character needs a good nap. SpeirsDidNothingWrong
First post on the forum for me. nothing I do but my wife pretends to suck at shooting and miss on purpose against attacking players/griefers, even lets them kill her once or twice before she does a 180 and hammer them until they parley, or message her. 285Hertz
Whenever I go into town I always stop off at a saloon, buy a drink and wait... hoping that someone will show up for a conversation... but no one ever does. OR A session recently - whilst I was playing with a glass of wine I decided to bump Usher in the background. The combination was amusing. FRIDA_KAHLO
I recently earned the distinguished bounty hunter rank and realized I do offer a distinguished service that is simply a cut above, ridin' em on in wearing their own hat aboard a boy named Sue. Commander S
*blows dust off thread, rather than making a new one* Something I've realised I do instinctively: if I have to rescue someone, and there's a wagon nearby, I assume that it's their wagon (for example, if someone's held up by bandits, I figure that the bandits were trying to steal their wagon and hold them hostage). Consequently, if they need a ride back to town (particularly if they were trying to get somewhere before they got in a pickle), I figure it only makes sense to do it with that wagon, because they'd want to complete their journey without leaving all their goods behind. Sure, it makes the trip a bit more cumbersome than if I just had them ride on my horse, but it's a small price to pay to know that I helped someone in need. ...of course, it could be that the wagon belonged to the bandits - in which case, look at it this way, stranger: you've been rescued, and you get a free wagon! And it's not like the old owners are going to miss it (seeing as they're now dead)... Rev. Gnash, Wickahoney, eighthdoctor and 1 other
Archangelsky
- Bow - Knife - Hammer - Cattleman revolver - Navy Revolver - All rifles - All repeaters - Double barrel shotgun - Short double barrel shotrun As far as I can remember those are the only weapons I have ever used in RDO, so some revolvers, shotguns and all the pistols I have never used in the 2 1/2 years I have played RDO. The reason for this is that I am "saving" these weapons for my next playthrough of single-player in order to have something new to look forward to. DarkReign27
I let the angry at the world Zizi Zombie Beaver take a bite outta me to try to tame it. Then we go adventuring while they're grunting angerly tailing behind me around the lake, never tuckers out. One day I hope to make friends by building a dam together to tame its fury, but maybe that'll never happen judging how strong it's craving for flesh is. It'd follow me through the gates of hell if it could, or send me there if I let it. eighthdoctor and kcole4001 1
