Nico
My PC is a mess, I have to admit. I haven't done a full OS reinstall since 2016 and I'm still using Windows 7. It works fine, but recently I bought a game that runs on Unity. In certain instance, the game tries to play a cutscene but freezes or even crashes after doing so. I talked about this with the developer support and they said it was the only case reported, and there must be something wrong with my computer configuration. They said they experienced this particular issue in PC's with Windows 7 and a media codec pack installed, it messes up with Unity's video playback system. I have installed many things over the years, and honestly I have no clue if I have something like this. Did you see the frightened ones? Did you hear the falling bombs? Did you ever wonder... ...why we had to run for shelter when the promise of a brave new world unfurled beneath a clear blue sky?
Edmachine
I would look in Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs and try to find any codec packs there. As far as I know, they should appear there. K-Lite codec pack, for example, certainly would. Or, if you have a codec pack installed, try updating it first to see if that fixes the issue. Sombra
^ that, also the fact certain programs (ie video editing/music production/anything along those lines) also tend to bundle their own codecs with it. In all honest you're probably better off just doing a clean reinstall. join the 11%
