Probably not the last, it makes too much money, but it will probably be the last good one, since theres only one last Houser left. Im not saying they where "needed" for GTA and Red Dead but their vision is what drove many aspects of what we love about their franchises.
We have seen since GTA Online and RDR Online that Take-2 have eatem away R* bit by bit and I wouldnt be surprised that R* employers & employees feel constrained but theres nothing they can do about it except leave the company.
T2 is a greedy seedy company headed by an ex-investment banker Straus Zelnick who has NO idea about videogames except the "value" in Microtransactions and "online services". His online interviews just shows him praising their "online model" of GTA Online in selling a service.

I don't think it's necessarily going to make Rockstar speed up or anything but it's quite telling that we're at the point where any time Rockstar poke their head out they are bombarded with GTA VI questions. They're probably delighted that it's still making big money but for fans it's getting to the point where they are starting to expect something soon cause it's been so long now.

I feel like this viewpoint started last year. I myself started focusing on GTA VI, after finishing RDR2. Reddit was full of it, last year. All boiled down to "it's been 6 years, so GTA VI has to come soon" Begging and asking for it won't make it happen, though.

what better way to cap off the year and start the new one than with the announcement of the ip that will be at the core of their business for a long time to come?

I personally think anyone attacking the preacher needs to log off or be temp banned, imagine using your energy to hate a guy just trying to spread the good word.

@The Preacher To be completely honest, you are the first leaker that I can actually trust related to GTA VI. I feel like a lot of people are getting salty about the fact that it didn't happen on the 25th, but I still believe it will happen in March. (you did troll a little bit there ).

 it's been several years since the last GTA, it's kind of obvious that Rockstar plans to announce something soon or in the near future. Even though GTA online is still a gold mine for them, they know that a new GTA can be a much more profitable move and that will sell like hot cake. Knowing Rockstar I have no doubt that the game will come almost perfect, but I hope that the singleplayer will be more explored than the online mode (very hard to believe that it happens knowing that Take Two aims at profit more than anything.)
