Actually I was mistaken, only numbered entries from GTA3 and onwards have the "Auto" pushed to the left (though gta3 uses a different alignment).

All non numbered titles (VC, SA, LCS, VCS, EFLC, Chinatown Wars) use the same logo in your picture.

Even if they did, the blank space between the letters wouldn't be white, it'd be black. Actually it would be see-through and it would expose the black background there. So no, fake.

Your point is still right, though. VI would be a numbered title, so the logo should've been different.

Also modern GTA's use the numeral as a bottom for the the V in the VI numeral in the fake logo isn't large enough,

There's literally no difference between the statement with IV or V either, both have three protagonists if you're including their DLC as stories.

The fact that there was some pattern to the logo in the past doesn't mean that they can't change it this time

I don't believe in leaks taken with a potato camera in 2020 but this is a bit interesting

 

Especially the poster. Sure, he could've printed it but it doesn't change the fact that there is another Rockstar logo and some kind of an office seen in the reflections, suggesting that the photo might've really been taken somewhere in Rockstar offices

I would normally agree. But all this really does is show the positioning changes depending on the specific logo. It's still fake, but I just wanted to point that out. But both GTA IV & V have the 'u' in auto centered under the 't' in theft.

A more accurate comparison, although in this instance it's impossible to tell, would be to check if the logo has the emboss effect.

 

But... since we haven't seen the official logo yet, who knows it may be different anyway. But you're probably right. Good work, anyway.

Ok I posted this on Robotrack's twitter but he doesn't care to reply: "I don't get it. You say this is for the community...But you also say R* is revealing the trailer/logo on the 30th. Then why risk exposing yourself....Unless you're just a fake?"

It's a logical question to ask and a simple answer should be expected.
