The vast majority of "influencers" are scared sh*tless of upsetting the companies giving them free sh*t and attention so they're very unlikely to talk bad about them or leak stuff. Journalists don't do it cause, well, that aint a wise career move innit.

Actually, now that I think about it. When GTA V o'Clock went to Rockstar, they were allowed in. And they did see things. I specifically remember one of them mentioning seeing a guy flying a fighter jet through a canyon. If I can find it, I'll link it.

Yep, I think they were only allowed up to that lobby where they have tables and a lounge, and the tvs where you could play the other R* titles. The real stuff is upstairs,  its like 4 stories tall the place where they reside. 

 

Plus anyways, R* only announces anything when they are ready at about 80% done with the title. I honestly think they aren't nowhere close to that. with Next gen I feel they are going to take a bit more time because they want to push what the PS5 or XSX will be able to do. Which I'm fine with. I really think theyre gonna do one last push with GTAO in the summer with those soundcloud rappers, and something with RDO which i haven't played.

Rockstar are one of the more extreme examples but it's pretty standard in the games industry these days. It's ultra secretive, far more so than other entertainment industries.

 

It's not that surprising though when you consider that games have, typically, much longer production cycles than say a TV season, a movie or an album. Over the course of that cycle hundreds if not thousands of people can work on the game as well. Lots of ways for things to leak out, so they're OTT on security to minimise it as much as possible.

It suprised the hell out of me when i checked p's story and saw they were doing a collab with rockstar i dont see them adding anymore new music to online though considering they just did and i would assume if they were going to add zilla and sos they wouldve done it in the ifruit radio update

So tomorrow is the last day right? Or are there already new hopes that it's actually in April now? I'm willing to accept that the date wasn't 25th but March as a whole. I'm just curious if anyone thinks it's gonna be April, and if so , how???

I’d like to think 4 years from now if GTA VI is released, we would all think back on this and just remember all this stupid speculation stuff. The Preacher, Project America’s, Jorge Consejo, basically everything. Have a laugh at ourselves and reminisce.
