They said that V wasn't coming any time soon and then 2 weeks later it was there in all of its glory. There's a real possibility they were just saying that to shut people up about VC as they were with V's announcement. Regardless, plans change. It could be anything. Whatever it is, it'll be amazing!

No they didn't. Only thing they said was, that they are focused right now on Max Payne 3.

I wanna say that you aren't even allowed to go into the studio with your phone lol, photo ops at the Rockstar logo in the reception is about as far as you go. I think you even need an escort to go to the loot at Rockstar if you're visiting.

 

The vast majority of "influencers" are scared sh*tless of upsetting the companies giving them free sh*t and attention so they're very unlikely to talk bad about them or leak stuff. Journalists don't do it cause, well, that aint a wise career move innit.

That’s just not how Rockstar works, especially as their ambitious projects get larger and larger. RDR2 and GTA V both took a year or two to release after announcement.

Exactly.

When a few Community people from GTA News, it was, I believe visited Rockstar New York(when Community Streams from Rockstar were still a thing), they said the same.

They also saw Dan Houser in the elevator, then driving off with his black SUV. Rockstar sure likes to keep up the mystique about their place.

They will only announce GTA 6 when they know the game is 1.5 - 2 years of being finished. There is no such as 2 - 3 months.

Take a look at the previous games and you'll see.

GTA Games are never finished. It means finished to sell it and fix some issues later.

 

But the timing is important also. GTA 6 could be "finished" as we talk. But there is still no next gen console....
