He opened a topic 1 months before RDR2 may 2018 previews and it was obvious. I was telling "expect some news between 3-10 may" too. Rdr2 and Gta V marketing was almost 1:1. So anyone could predict every 3 4 months for news,1 year after announcement. And also you can have ideas too by looking TakeTwo conferance dates. If VI will announce this month or even next month okay this is big but it wont.

Just pointing out that GTA 4s reveal trailer released on March 30th, so a reveal right now isn't that far fetched.

A trailer as a reveal is highly unlikely though if they are planning on doing the same reveal plan as RDR2.

The major clue is when they start doing previews with journalists and begin marketing. They start with Trailer 1 a week or so after announcement, then a second trailer which usually comes with a round of previews. Then a 3rd trailer with another set of more in depth previews, and that's usually when the marketing really ramps up.

If Rockstar announce GTA VI, with a view to releasing it 12 months or so later, you can tell very quickly if that date will stick, if there's no mention or hints of journalists seeing the game, or long periods of silence. 

 

Some people think the delays are planned. I don't. But much more likely, I feel, is that Rockstar try to hit the initial dates, but end up having to delay them. Or use it as a way to get the most time in development possible. For example, TT might mandate that the game must be released by 2022. But Rockstar know that the game needs an extra year, so they announce it in 2021, then file for a delay, giving them the extra year they needed. Think of it like a legal loophole.

 

However, in reality, it might just be the fact that their projects are so ambitious, and maybe aren't managed too well.

Sorry for saying that, but does that Preacher had some kinda of Pedophille? I mean it's makes a whole lot of difference if he really is then his child will be "shocked" with his actual person, thus GTA 6 won't be announced at March. This is just a theory, I believe him.
