Well, it IS a sunday, but im kinda thinking the same thing, twitch staff is extremely quick on these cases normally, but maybe ''the virus'' delays it?

I thought it's already debunked, they updated the stream with " It's for the April Fool you losers!" something like that.

I see your point - to be honest I think it would probably still be apart of the HD era, even though it technically be a whole different generation and more time would have passed between V and VI than between SA and IV, which is crazy to think!

Same. Kinda hard to admit but I trust him. I mean if nothing happens yeah he still played us but I, personally won't care. Wouldn't even ban the guy... well at least not a perm ban. He still has good history, let's not forget that. I think that he does know stuff about the game but for some reason wants to hold on to it for now. So yes, I am waiting until the end of march. And if nothing happens? Then IMO it was quite entertaining. That may vary from person to person but for me it was. Thank you @The Preacher

Wasn't GTA IV announced at E3 2006 and the release date was set for October 2007 ?

 

The same could possibly happen for GTA 6, only that it will be released on schedule (2021 ?), who knows

About The Preacher debate.

 

Having faith = Believing that GTA 6 will be announced until 31th March (which is very unlikely).

Being skeptical = Believing GTA 6 will NOT be announced until 31th March because it is the most logical scenario.

 

You can't blame people for being critical. The Preacher is digging his own grave right now. He will be BANNED if nothing happens (the admins have told us that).

Based on what? Most people don't even know what that is. Rockstar can easily start a new one, anyway. Call it the UHD Universe. Doesn't really matter.

But like I said, maybe Rockstar has learned from their mistakes and now GTA 6 could release next year if it is announced this year.

It doesn't have to be 2022 at the earliest.

They are still not 100% quiet as it seems. Otherwise, leaks for other R* games would not have been possible but we'll see.

In other words, the preacher will draw the cover himself, send it to us, and then say, "I didn't say the ad would be official."

I have a few reasons why GTA 6 would be set in hd era. 

 

1) For the first time a gta game's protagonist's voice actors are happy with r*. So it could be likely that they would have a small part in GTA 6.

 

2) There are 3 main GTA games in 3d era. Vice city, San Andreas and 3. In hd era there's so far only 2 main games, 4 and 5. So it is likely that 6 could also be set hd era as a trilogy.

UHD is 4K. RDR2 was in 4K on X1X. Presuming GTA VI on Next gen exclusive it will be 4K as standard.

Of course, if you don't have a 4K TV it won't be, but it will still be rendered in 4K, and based on high quality textures, etc, in layman's terms.
