romariothewiz
I have GTA SA on my Android phone. I have a problem where the gas station garage door, the transfender and pay n spray doors in San Fierro, and the pay n spray door in the town that Barbara lives cannot open. I can still save the game at the gas station and the safehouse at the town where Barbara lives still work, but not the garage doors and Pay'n'spray doors. Can it be corrected? AdinX57zt
Happand to me too i suggest you to deinstall some of mods that take much space in GTA, Or install StreamMemFix. When you have much like model cars in garage that take much time to load it takes more time for the garage open so i suggest u deinstall some of mods and model of cars. I only have an air traffic mod and a cheat activation both by using Cleo. I'm using Android and I'm not sure if StreamMemFix is available for Android. Thunderjohn
I have the exact same issue. Did you happen to find a fix? Maybe it's the mods that corrupt the save game. Even when I disable them it still doesn't work.
OrionSR
Upload your save to GTASnP.com and post the link here; I'll check your garages.

OrionSR
I checked the Doherty save garage, Doherty PnS and El Que PnS, and each had the same inappropriate garage ceiling height. I fixed these 3 garages and then ran a search of the inappropriate setting and it looks like every single garage has been corrupted, but I didn't try to fix anything else. https://gtasnp.com/qsVYKY Please check the Doherty save garage and Dohery PnS to see if the fixing the ceiling height fixes these garages. I'm not sure if this is the only problem or not. Please post a link to the mod that is breaking your game? All of the save garages that I checked are active, even before the properties have been purchased. Edited April 7, 2020 by OrionSR
Thunderjohn
The garage door and pay n spray in Doherty work, the pay n spray in North San fierro doesn't. I suspect that this 60 fps mod is to blame. The rest I had installed were the skin selector, aparrel mod, and an fps camera mod. Thanks for this by the way. I'm stuck in an army base irl and being able to play San Andreas rocks
OrionSR
Neither of the mods you linked look like they could corrupt your garages. 6 hours ago, Thunderjohn said: The garage door and pay n spray in Doherty work, the pay n spray in North San fierro doesn't. Yeah, that is to be expected. Every garage that wasn't fixed has an incorrect ceiling height of 20.2236 meters, which is way low for any garage well above sea level and too high for anything else. If the ceiling is too low the door won't open. If the ceiling is too high... you can park helicopters on the roof. I'm not sure what to do about fixing your save. Generally when you break your save with bad cleo mods you are screwed; revert to a backup save or fix it yourself. I assume that since you are stuck on a base then you don't have access to a PC that would allow you to fix the problems or even gather the data needed for the repair. But I'm a bit more willing to help a player out during these difficult times. Please try to track down the bad mod. I'll give the matter some thought and try to come up with something that can fix any save with this problem so no one else needs to bug me for a manual repair. Thunderjohn
The only other mod I can think of is this one. What tool do you use to edit the save game? I don't have pc access here but maybe I can do it on Android, with a text editor?
OrionSR
Okay, I think I've got all the bugs worked out of this script. This script won't repair any other changes made by the unknown script. It looks like all garages are unlocked, and I wouldn't be surprised if the remote cameras have been modified. I'll worry about that when the bad script has been identified. Ceiling.csi - Restores all standard ceiling heights corrupted by a bad cleo mod. This script has been tested using Android 1.08 but was written to be compatible for any version. Install like any other cleo script and execute using the cleo menu. 1 hour ago, Thunderjohn said: What tool do you use to edit the save game? In this case I'm using a compiled cleo script to edit memory instead of modifying the save directly so the required tools are available to anyone with this problem. The script was compiled with Sanny Builder (PC). The save analysis and test edits were made with the 010 Editor (PC) with a custom template that parses the hex data into a more readable format and a custom script that generated 99% of the codes required. I'd be happy to provide more details but this is not the place for that sort of conversation. I'm surprised that this topic hasn't been locked or moved to the modding forums already. If you or anyone else would like more detailed information then please ask your questions in the III Era Modding forum and post a link here. Your latest suggestion can't be the culprit either. It'd be nice to know what other damage that script has done. I suspect the script might have been advertised with a land helicopters on the roof feature. For reference, the corrupt height is always 20.2236. I had to review my old notes from v1.05 to relearn the modification strategy and noticed that my example also used 20.2236. This is the setting I've been using for years to allow helicopters to store on the roof of the El Corona garage; a setting that is specific to El Corona. Someone probably misunderstood the script and applied the setting to all garages. Edited April 8, 2020 by OrionSR romariothewiz
Thunderjohn
I did install this script pack briefly, then immediately quit and picked out most scripts, keeping only the apparel mod and vehicle spawner. But I don't think I saved while all these scripts were active. Curiously, the air traffic script that the OP mentioned is included in this pack. Regardless, your ceiling script works and it seems I can progress with the game now :). If I run across any more game breaking damage, I will report my findings. Many thanks mod bro Edited April 8, 2020 by Thunderjohn romariothewiz and OrionSR

This ceiling script opened all the garages and PnS's that wouldn't open! I'm so happy. I've read the conversation between you and Thunderjohn and I agree that it must have been a mod that I previously installed that caused it. All garages and PnS's in San Andreas seem to be corrupted, although it is nothing major. What I noticed is that when I drive into any of them the camera doesn't zoom out and focus on the door like normal. Instead it follows the vehicle straight into the building. So if it is a large PnS you see the exact moment the vehicle changes color. That doesn't affect the overall gameplay though.

I suspect it might be a relatively new mod as I haven't noticed this issue until just recently. The camera thing doesn't surprise me. I'm more concerned with mission garages with unlocked doors. You might want to check "mission" garages, like: Downtown LS used for Life's a Beach Behind Cesar's house in El Corona Next to Woozie place in San Fierro

But the one behind Cesar's house remains closed. As for the specific mod that caused the corruption, I won't be able to determine that unfortunately. I used to use quite a few mods back then but now I only use 'AirTraffic.csi' and a cheat activator. I saw a "project reality" mod where you pay at the toll booth for crossing the Gant Bridge in San Fierro. I am skeptical about installing it though, as it might cause another break. Thunderjohn
Just finished the story missions. Didn't have any problems with any more garages. I have come across another bug. All the properties in San Fierro and Las Venturas remain unavailable for purchase, even though I've finished the game. Also I still haven't unlocked the zip and victim clothes stores, even though I was able to access Didier Sach's even before leaving Los Santos the first time. Something's really f*cked with my save game Edit: here's my save, seems I also don't have access to Los Santos street races and Las Venturas street races. I wonder what else could be missing. Properties in SF and LV, and some clothing shops remain locked because the Buy Properties thread has ended prematurely. It was missing in the older save too, and probably was for some time. I get the impression that someone was trying to unlock things early and didn't understand how the flow control works. The races look fine. Icons and spheres exist, the race menu triggers, but I didn't actually start a race. Thunderjohn
