These terrains are under my controll xD

 

So, I created night neon. It was hard because I had to align all flats for neon texture.

I think screens shoud be made with hidden hud and map, this way its more official and rstar style

Yes, but afterward HackMan has created a better version. Will probably be included in next Beta

I think the next area that should be converted is that little wooden Island in the south tounge.gif Only because I can't imagine that taking long to do but would be one of the main visual changes on the coastline.

We don't know, map isn't ready yet, unfortunately there is no reason to including it in other mods.

We were thinking very carefully about this and We don't want to give any permissions to use our work in another projects. Sorry but if you want to use VCS things you must it by yourself. This is our final decision.

Of course it's your decision and you have a right to it because it's you doing this mod

but I do not understand it, you didint make a whole VC from begining

you use Rockstar property in this mod and its ok... but when somone want to use your stuff to create somthing new its not ok ...

We just don't want to put our VCS stuff to IV engine by another team. Maybe in the distant future we'll do it by ourself.

That's true. We only use vic, peds and tekstures, the rest things we are re-making. Vice IV team wanted to permission to use our map stuff what we re-created. All of our map objects are re-making by ourself - not converted from original game. So if you want to use our re-make VCS map objects in the your project you must have permission. For the your own use you needn't it.

Actually, not. They are only using textures, vic, and the characters, they are re-making Vehicles, map, also script. So it is techinally their's.

Omg. I used sh*tty VC objects as a skeleton.

Do You really think that it's only texture? New walls with windows, doors, new details, new geometry and prelighting. There is only 20% of Rockstar in my models because of this skeleton.

50% textures I'm getting from VC and I'm remaking it because it has higher quality than VCS, 50% are from PS2.

People! Are you all crazy or what? They haven't already finished the project and you are asking about the port to RAGE engine... What's the hell?!! Are you little kids which think that "GTA:IV" is the best GAME? Just let them work in their way! Don't disturb them!

Man, I think those guys with the rage engine need to leave the gta 3 era games alone. I liked the new engine for IV but I would rather not have EVERY gta ported to rage because it takes away some of the nostalgic value. I am completely fine with people porting GTA3 era games to the San Andrea's engine because it the same graphics wise. But I really don't like the rage ports that much, they are just putting LQ models into the new engine and it's not the same. So i really respect you guys keeping the VCS mod in the GTA3 era engine icon14.gif Looking forward to updates keep up the good work guys colgate.gif

LCS PC Edition or VCS PC Edition should not be converted into RAGE. Personally I am against it. VCS PC Edition look great on the RenderWare.

@blaster

If you want Vice IV to be different with VCR, you should do it by yourself. Re-done some building from scratch, or improve the texture quality to be higher or something like that, then you basically have different Vice.

Using VCS team model, merged it with another vegetation mod and bam's Vice HD model isn't a right choice. Won't blend well.

 

tl;dr? Do it yourself. No need to use other team work.

Don't get permision from VCS team leader? then move on.

@Black69 shut up please, as Blaster clearly stated he could't he care less, he also stated he did not know hackman recreated all the models from scratch, he thought Hackman converted directed. Just stop aggravating everyone and move on.
