I think the only way to fix it is removing your save game, or start over with a new copy.

I would consider upgrading your PC to the latest Windows version (10).

And if this doesn't help, you need to upgrade your PC.

There's really nothing to show off, for the past few months no one has been working on this anymore, we got to a point where _AG broke something and we couldn't find a fix and interest in continuing quickly died off for most of the team and they left. Back then we needed a scripter but right now, we need a team again, or at least someone to take over the project as I have no interest in leading this anymore.

Really sad to hear that almost everyone left the VCS PC team.

I think you shouldn't give it up yet, its an amazing unofficial port and the best out there.

 

Maybe you should create an post that you're looking for a new team for VCS PC?

I think that there are some people that would love to help you with this project, including me.

Well its not a lie, i really want to help and i already told Ash before this message that he could PM me if he was in need of a scripter.

The problem isn't just the lack of a scripter. Don't forget that in the last couple of months we even had a base game crisis. Continue with SA, or start with VC from scratch? Also, we knew that missions couldn't continue being developed with the old source we have because we were moving on with a fresh new map extracted properly and as close to source files as possible (obviously it would have incompatibilities). Plus, as engine changes were made, the script just kept breaking more and more. The idea was that we'd move to gta3script fully, but we never fully completed the original script decompilation that we wanted and instead we got stuck at taking care of the thousands upon thousands of names and stuff that were necessary for the map. So yeah, there's a lot of boring sh*t that has to be done that's keeping the project incomplete, and the script isn't one of them at this point.

My game crashes during the mission where I have to save lives of 3 girls by picking them up. Is this the last mission of the mod? If no, how can I fix the problem? Also does anyone have the game save after this mission so I can just skip it?

And what about the Got Protection mission, where you should rescue 3 prostitutes from Cholos? Is it finished in the game? If yes, can anyone send me the savegame after this mission? I cannot pass it because of a game error

No, that mission should be locked out because we had scripting issues keeping the hookers in the vehicle, it's been reactivated in some builds, but eh, not much we can do if people are playing on unfinished scripts.

Mission is not being worked on now. Because they don't have any scripter now

Back when we were working on this with all our free time and had a scripter we managed to get it down to roughly a mission every 2 weeks, that includes translating it to San Andreas markers, testing, etc, that was back in like 2013 though

If only one day GTA: VCS would be full available for PC, it would be a really glorious day for us all GTA fans, I just wish..
