No news, if you don't count the rewritten time cycle code, redone rendering pipeline and such.

We're currently working with guard3 to try and see if we can crack open as much as possible from GAME.DTZ to hopefully get a point where we won't need to wait for VCS Mobile to do things like the map, etc, or at least get some detailed documentation down.

I hope to get resources without the need of mobile version, too. They're probably gonna serve us some sh*tty psp stuff and copy-pasted gta vc data :/ (+ Missing road reflections, OMG)

Right now we have the names of 3076 models, 1541 are still unnamed and they'll be a bitch to find out. If anyone has good suggestions how to crack crc32 hashes, tell us.

VCS is being re-released!!!

 

 

....On PlayStation 4 via emulation.

 

On the plus side this will be a good indication of music rights and of course we get official achievements/trophies. Which we were planning to add on PC, so it'll be interesting to see if our list is a close match.

Music rights? Does that mean that LCS for PS4 will have the mobile radio? Will VCS for PS4 have songs removed? That would be interesting...

Wait,GTA stories in ps3 don't have Achievements?

That's because PS2 Games requiring Trophies is a PS4 thing.

Yes, via a menu in the game, you can choose if you want the pop up or not, but it will unlock according to progress/goals, similar to how non-Steam games do it, such as Assassin's Creed.

 

edit: Anyway, feedback time, a tester has mentioned that they do not like the looks of the Xbox lights on these vehicles due to the colour tint that is on them (apart of the original Xbox texture)...

Well, the Taxi looks nice. I guess that the Taxi will serve.

Anyway, is there any info about exclusive vehicles? I'm just asking...

I think both look good, if only it was possible to make it "random" for example some times is gonna spawn like the first one and some times like second one :p
