It works horribly even with a 2GB DDR3 gpu... would you please concider releasing your version? just call it lmshadows or something ^_^

 

BTW: Are lmshadows the same that are casted from lamp posts and cars when you set the shadows to very high?

Immediate shadows are the ones casted by peds on High/Very High (in San Andreas). Cars/objects cast stencil shadows which we removed completely.

He'll recreate it in no time...when you know how to implement something, writing the code isn't the hard part. Right now he's/we're trying to create a proper pipeline instead of hijacking an existing one.

Sorry to hear that you lost the files, Silent. Although like someone else had said you'll probably remake them in no time. Anyway, i'm still having fun playing the current version and rocking out to V-Rock while i'm at it. The only bad thing is the occasional crash when I accidentally hit the custom player radio station which crashes the game without creating a .dmp.

 

Other than that I just want to thank you guys for the awesome work you do. Without even being completed this mod is by far, in my opinion, the best one ever made for a gta game. Keep up the good work. :^:

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this seems logic to me - they don't know when they'll release a new beta (and sorry for being somewhat rude, but you'd have found this out if you had read the last 3 pages). Adding new missions is not a piece of cake, so it seems to be obvious that they won't probably be delivered to us as a small update but as a part of some new beta. And now we can draw a conclusion out of those two sentences - it's not known when new missions will be available. At least I think so.

nobody knows , if you read the previous pages , Silent also mentioned that the mod focus now is to make VCS looked as good as it can be. please correct me if i'm wrong.

peds ? why ? the only thing a pedestrian in GTA good at is to get killed by the player.

different variety of peds and such are fun. especially gang peds. VCS PC only has 4 different gangs I believe, maybe 3... no I do not count the army, pigs, or golfers as a gang

Had to hack default RW window mode functionality and now it seems to work alright :) Could probably work without the hacks too, but the way RW handles window mode isn't too intuitive.
