I think you mean missions for the mod, what I meant was the level editor for the game Hotline Miami 2.

Because the original had low quality and out of place textures, due to it being lazily done.

Lazily done as in more or less recycled from the original VC, right?

 

Then again the goal here is not just to reimplement VCS in SA, but to fix what Leeds failed or forgot to.

 

Also, do you guys have any plans on finishing, or better yet, coming up with a (semi) automated way to convert missions from the original, or would that require some hacking and further research?

It's the only way I'd touch missions ever again. Manually altering the scripts to use SA task system is so f*cking tiresome so it caused the current situation with the missions

Tell me about it. And I assume the script conversion (and basically reimplementing VCS wholesale) did involve poking into the game in PCSX2, yes?

SA task system? Would it be possible to just convert the script? Or make a translator script (I.E translates the old script in real time to the game). And what is stopping you from simply putting the VCS script in place? Is there a technical reason other than needing to convert it?

I remember I played GTA VCS on ps3 and it had 2 buttons or even 3 for fist combat, kicks and punches right? will it be on PC too? and all the knives and the cool weapons and animations.

This appears to be a DEP problem. Restore your DEP settings back to default.
