So since things are quiet I decided to have a play around with some scripts and I've always liked the idea of a GTAV-esque dynamic soundtrack, so I've put a test of that into VCS PC, you can watch the

DON'T DO THIS.

 

It breaks a f*ckton of apps. Best to leave DEP at it's default settings (turned on only for essential Windows services...).

My bad, didn't notice DEP wasn't turned on by default, as it was on my PC, which is an OEM one.

I don't think anyone can top Omexr's ego. That's like trying to catch lightning in a bottle.Yeah, that dude was more stuck up than an erection lasting longer than 4 hours.

 

But I wish he finished his mod because it looked quite interesting. GTA III definitely needed some interiors giving you a reason to explore out of a vehicle.

 

Anyways, can we get back on topic. I don't know what derailed it, but I sure hope that this mod is not dead.

Well, the only thing Ash was working on was the map, so once the map was finished, there seemed no more reason for him to stay on. Then when he decided to do the same thing that got him banned the first time, he was just going out with a bang.

 

I thought that was interesting.

No? Good, because we're bumping system requirements... now you'll need a 2003-ish PC to run it rather than 2000-ish. Sad.

I have a pentium 4 and a Nvidia AGP card around, don't know if it's still working. GTA SA did just fine without AA. (1024x768)

 

I remember using this tools to help with performance
