So since things are quiet I decided to have a play around with some scripts and I've always liked the idea of a GTAV-esque dynamic soundtrack, so I've put a test of that into VCS PC, you can watch the

Also a friend of mine told me that you will make it for sure and I really like the fact that he was wrong.

Also: I misunderstood that Ash was mad at the community and not at the team. I'm sorry. But that is basically the same thing: Someone is mad or bored and the mod gets never finished. I don't see any difference here. And now give me my medal :)

That's the saddest thing I've learned since a long time as this mod is the one and only I have ever awaited. You all guys did an awesome job. Maybe one day Ash will change his mind (or you'll find someone to replace him), find some motivation and get this stuff done. Anyways, thanks a lot for anything you've done so far, and for the time devoted to this mod.

Good luck with anything you'll get down to in the future.

Nobody can replace Ash though, maybe do some of the things he does, but Ash was probably the best multi-tool ever. Audio guy, texture guy, and many more things.

 

 

I myself am trying to become a jack of all trades, sure I will never have a quarter of the skill ash has. but I am trying my damndest to get better at both texture work and scm coding... Audio aswell, since I originally started out making Resident evil audio mods back in 2007ish...

 

who knows, maybe in 5 years time I can atleast try to pick up on where ash left off with this mod...

I just created this account to say that I love what you guys have done / (are still doing?) and I'm sure we all very much appreciate it greatly. It's sad to see ash and anyone else go but I can only imagine how hard they must have worked on this mod, and how ungrateful some people can be which makes you not feel appreciated.

 

Is there anyone else who can help out with the mod? Anything we can do? I'd help out if I knew what I was doing but I honestly wouldn't have a clue when it comes to this.

 

Also will silver palmetto be released or is that on hold as well?

My Javier Nagalas skin I released on a SA-MP RP site... since my Ss4gogeta0 account was perma banned over a GTA United discussion, I use 3 different accounts on it just incase one gets banned...

 

anyway most of the tattoos were done by me... original base skin was done by some unknown guy in 2010 or something... flag under the hat was also done by me ;)

As soon as the crew were starting to lack motivation on the missions, I was starting to predict this. Most total conversion mods never get passed the Beta stages, so as sad as this is to see...it was to be expected. I hope in the future you guys might return to this mod out of general interest and give it a go. :)

I guess progress on this mod will continue when the time is right, until then I'll be playing the PS2 version on my PCXS2 emulator. :cool:

Okay then, can you please name someone who can (and wants to) continue developing this mod while keeping the same quality level? Someone who can implement features which were never present in original GTA San Andreas? You can go all the way back to the first page and look at the pictures from the first beta which was being developed by Russians. Do you think this is what this mod should be? This ugly rushed remake? Really?

Add gta_vcs.exe and gta_sa.exe to Data Execution Prevention's exception list.
